RE: Verbolten

^ I'm guessing there's a typo here... Unless you're agreeing with me... I really do like the teasers but they are teasers- they have to lead to something. In fact, they should have already led to something.

RE: Verbolten

I was told today by someone working closely with the project that the track circuit will be done this week or early next at the latest and the theming company is scheduled to start inside the event building on Monday. He said it's a mad house in the building now that it's actually dried in. A half a dozen lifts or so and all the trades trying to get as much as possible done before they start putting the theming elements in.

^That makes me think that a March opening seem reasonable.

Makes me think the opposite. Opening Day is 11 weeks away. Thats hardly enough time to finish the inside of the building, Finish theming, test the effects in the building, the pull thru, testing the launches, testing the coaster full circuit, and then finally testing the coaster with effects and fixing any problems that will come up.

RE: Verbolten

I'm not claiming to know anything on the subject, but I'll throw this out there: Cheetah Hunt's testing period was less than 6 weeks.

RE: Verbolten

Testing the coaster is a standalone over theming testing. Theming can easily be installed, rigged, and tested on an oppisite schedule of ride system installation and testing. I have a feeling Busch will not hesitate to do one during dayling (coaster) and other during night (building). They have a ton riding on this attraction as we all know. They will work a schedule out to get it as close to opening as possible.

RE: Verbolten

Ok, so I believe its probably just a hoax, but this is the "Verbolten Facebook Site" http://www.facebook.com/pages/Verbolten/356823344331848

RE: Verbolten

Get this,

Verbolten tracks are almost complete. The event building, the drop, both launches, and the special surprise.

Could it be a marketing ploy? I'm thinkin it is official, after all, it seems like the marketing plan for verbolten is low key, I think this is pretty low key to me, by the way that rhymed ;)

RE: Verbolten

It just allows you to edit the "Places" feature. BG's main FB page does the same thing. Edits won't show up in their info but they will in the Busch Gardens "Place" page.

RE: Verbolten

So, does anyone think that they will (or have the room to) raise the level of the Rhine once they're done with Verbolten? It would be a good way of hiding the footers a little bit more, like BBW's were.

RE: Verbolten

The river right now is as high as it will ever get. The footers that you see now were built on top of BBW's footers. Hopefully they will give them some nice theming.

RE: Verbolten

Just an idea. I didn't know if they did in fact drain it a little bit for the construction. I'm hoping the same too though.
