RE: Verbolten

If I'm not mistaken, they said they're trying for opening day during the Verbolten Q&A as well. I don't have any idea where these other opening times are coming from...

Multiple people in the park for me...including construction workers

RE: Verbolten

Uh oh. James been talking to the construction workers again. Lord help us all.

RE: Verbolten

A spokesman from Zierier was recorded earlier at a trade fair and said that we have to look forward to the ride in April 2012. Which to mean could mean, if they can not get it open by opening day, they are going to try for Spring Break, if not Spring Break then I can see Memorial Day.

EDIT: Here is something interesting. In the picture used on BGW's homepage for Verbolten, it shows green tracks but a grey road? Kinda opposite, don't you think as far as the supports and track go.

It's advertising... It's never accurate. (looks at previous Verbolten advertisements)

RE: Verbolten

Yeah, it really never is accurate, but as for the opening I think we can see something a lot like that.

What the hell is that suppose to mean? I've just spent the most of the last 4 months working beside that site. I think I just might know what is going on around there. Plus wouldn't the guys putting the thing together know when they will finish?

Heard from where? Lets make sure if we are going to spew things out, lets at least hint at where the information came from.

The park has stated it is planning on opening the ride opening day for the park.
They realize they cannot afford to have another Mach Tower fiasco.
Soft opening on Pass Member weekend. Full opening the following weekend. Makes sense no?

RE: Verbolten

I thought for sure someone had posted a detailed construction schedule to one of these threads which indicated an April opening. Anyone else recall that (or able to find it), or am I losing my mind?

RE: Verbolten

I thought there was a link to a document somewhere (maybe it was pulled?), but it gave a day by day construction schedule. Dozens of pages, very detailed.

RE: Verbolten

^That's what I was referring to earlier.

This is my theory on opening day though (having to do with the numbers) : First of all, the numbers (in sequential order of videos) are 43 79 93. Ironically, the last number, if you split it up into two integers and add them, turns out to be 12 (opening year?). At the IAAPA, the representative from Zierer said that it will be opening in April - split off the 4 from the first number and you end up with the 4th month - April. I don't get the numbers in between (the 3, 7, and 9), but my only theory with those is adding them up to get 19. With this, we could expect it to open 4/19/12??? This is a really bad theory and I am most likely over thinking the numbers, but its something. I thought the opening date on the sheet Shafor was referring to was the 19th of April, but I am probably mistaking it. Anyone have any other ideas?

RE: Verbolten

Swift - The production value for those teasers was really really high? Cough. As someone in advertising I'm pretty sure the production value was not bad at all....
