RE: Verbolten

Stranger things have happened. Sadly, I have to admit, unless the marketing team decides to really push this thing hard during the off season, the advertising will not be so good. They aren't exactly the best group of people out there.

RE: Verbolten

I think we should just take over the marketing team for them! lol

Is someone going to the park today to get pictures?

RE: Verbolten

This is looking great!

The drop is indeed, in the exact shape BBW was. My only concern about this ride is the journey from the event building to the bridge... The launch looks sketchy, and the path looks kind of RCT3, but maybe it is just the trees making it look like that...

RE: Verbolten

I think that they want to not dive right into the drop after the launch... Some nice slow acceleration before the drop

RE: Verbolten

I wasn't able to get Verbolten pics New Years Eve. I am sure someone had to of. Really, all they have left to do as far as track goes is finish the footers by the station and connect that small bit.

Then they will probably start working more on the station and all the detailed stuff.

RE: Verbolten

I was there, you can't see anything else. Looks the exact same as the pics posted a few days ago.

RE: Verbolten

I don't deserve much credit for this being that I didn't have to do much for it, but I "updated" the comparison image that News Plus Notes put out not too long ago.

RE: Verbolten

^True, but look at this. Stumbled across that not too long ago. I was amazed to see that there were so little trees there when BBW was opened. Part of BGW's agreement with JCC in building the coaster is that they are going to re-plant trees torn down during construction, plus add a lot more foliage. It also looks bare because it is winter :p

RE: Verbolten

It looks like more trees are lost because it is winter and there aren't leaves, but they did take out a good amount and will probably replant once the ride opens.

Did they finish pouring the concrete on the last turn?

RE: Verbolten

Plus, Busch needed to take out some trees to be able to maneuver the cranes around... That pic of bbw when it opened reminds me of when vanish point opened... All bare... Not much foliage there

RE: Verbolten

I am sure over time, and after they replant trees it will look a lot better. If only they could have done that with Griffon.
