At night you can see lights on inside the event building. I think they just leave them on for now during construction. Like when a new house is being built, they leave on a few lights each night inside the house, most of the time in the beginning of construction.

Do you live in the park?

No, however, I wish I lived there, that would be friggen amazing!
You can be our little birdie with all the access when living in the park.

Thanks for picture update Swiffman. All they need to do is finish the footers and the rest of the track.

RE: Verbolten

I think its interesting how they solved the problem of reusing footers from a suspended coaster (which arent directly under the track), to fit a standard type coaster (footers directly under track). Especially in the pic Swift took at the bottom of the drop. That 'odd' support he mentioned in the pic is their way of making this standard track 'fit' suspended footers, especially during a quick change of direction.

Physics owns you. That is not the reason for that support.

RE: Verbolten

Isn't the odd support there because BBW's supports had to be to either side of the track, and right after the odd support the footers (old BBW supports) switch sides so there's a huge gap between those footers?

RE: Verbolten

I NOTED THIS QUICKLY!---
After the drop, the track continues to cover to the left but within 7 feet it makes a sharper curve then it will in the event bulding to the left? THIS WILL ADD SOME G'S... then the incline back to the station:)

RE: Verbolten

I was basically trying to say the same thing Scotcher said as for the reason for the odd support. Atlantis will tell us what physics says.

So tell us, Atlantis, what's the reason for the odd support? This ought to be good...

CHECK OUT THIS! IM NOT A PHYSICS GEN. BUT THERE HAS TO BE QUITE A LARGE AMOUNT OF SPEED ONCE THE TRAIN LEAVES THE EVENT BULDING CHECK OUT THIS PIC AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE LAUNCH SPEED:)

It looks to me to be closer to 300 ft, based on the height of the drop

RE: Verbolten

Simple: Since BBW is suspened the supports need to be farther from the track so it passes clearence. a sit down coaster doesn't need to worry. But since BBW was also swinging back and forth, they wanted the support on the opposite side of the train swinging making the footer to be on the opposite side. Now a sit down coaster has the support directly under the track. since the track falls in between the those 2 footers were they switch sides. water would be directly below the track so a support can't go there. When looking at the picture posted above if they took out the extended weird part, it would be unstable, so they extended to be more balanced. Understand?

RE: Verbolten

It prob. is 300 feet but still 30 feet of LIM is not gonna propel you upwards and around curves. Even cheetah hunt at BGT has mabey a 50-60 foot launch while testing they could had issues with getting it ip only 130 feet:0 this is going to be intresting

Please, tell me how what you just said is any different from what I said... and what Scotcher said... in our earlier posts. We understand it perfectly, and its exactly what we've posted... Just worded a lil differently.

Plane of application as a result from differential forces. Magnitude and direction require that placement to collapse the forces adequately. It has nothing to do with BBW being suspended.

Physics > Observational guesses.
