the park re-posted the video asking what people's favorite parts of the video were, and they have been glorified with nothing but almost all positive comments. only one person has actually said they will be going to KD instead of BGW because of this video, everyone else in the GP is like, "what the heck is this, OMG! I really want to go to busch gardens now!"

I was looking at the comments for it too. Someone actually thinks it's another dark ride.

Since we're talking marketing, why doesn't BGW have a sign by the highway. KD does it, and Seaworld does it. They could use the LCD sign like KD does to easily put up messages.

Pretty sure it might have something to do with the golf course that sits between the park and the highway.

The GP is totally clueless when it comes to verbolten, it really is amusing to see the replies they get.

I was thinking more like a sign that Seaworld has. Not more than 10-20 feet tall. But they could add an LCD or LED display like KD has. This would just be right before the BGW exit.

Although, knowing driving patterns, this would probably cause a 2 mile backup.

RE: Verbolten

Are they in control of signs by the highway? That'd be a pretty non-intrusive sign though. Eh, whatever, but I think it would at least look nicer than a billboard.

RE: Verbolten

I think that you have to own land along the highway to put large display signs up... Bgw is close, but not along side the highway... Btw, I took a friend to an interview at Busch the other day and they had changed the signs by the entrances to a verbolten sign... Not much, but it still is advertising for the first guests on opening day

RE: Verbolten

It would have to go through York if it was gonna be along the highway anywhere between exit 243 and 234 (Busch exit and Walmart exit). BUT there is no part of the interstate without trees in between westbound and eastbound. Well, not anywhere that would make sense. The only place that would make sense is near the exit (on the hill) to where you could see it from 143, 60, and 64, but its a public easement. There is no was at all to acquire that land, being that it is part of the roadway right-of-way.

I agree. The only place is the golf course between and the power lines, but I don't think they will allow any signage for the park and it be hard to see from both side of the interstate due to the fact there is no other good places to put one. The only other thing that they can do is place two signs one on either side of the interstate near the exits to the park.

RE: Verbolten

I doubt they will ever put up a sign, the area just really couldn't handle it, unless they have an LED/LCD sign on truss going across the highway, like with road signs all the time, much more likely than an actual big sign.

RE: Verbolten

Just spotted the first Verbolten advertisement i've seen. Little travel center type kiosk (setup travel times, buy tickets, etc.) setup with big Verbolten advertisement on both sides in Chesapeake Square mall.

RE: Verbolten

Found out today that after you ride Verbolten, you will be able to purchase a video of you riding it. They announced this during the orientation, and they are opening at 9AM during Spring Break, I wonder why?
