RE: Verbolten

It may be raining on Sunday, so you might get lucky and have a slow day for crowds. That's what I am hoping anyways. If it is raining, I plan to go up there and hopefully it will be running in the rain.

Still, am I the only one who noticed the addition of that small awkward stage by the entrance to Verbolten??

RE: Verbolten

It is a fitting position. It was for the VIP event last night and possibly(?) a speech earlier. What is so awkward about it. It is bounds better than a generic stage in the middle of path. It is in a very tasteful and themed location.

I wonder if they'll keep it and use it for oompah performances since they removed the stage across that path. I assumed it was temporary, but they did a ton of work on it during the week and it looks really nice now. It'd be cool if they kept it and put it to use.

RE: Verbolten

This was a very well done ceremony. Much more than a speech. The fireworks were a nice touch. My only complaint:where were the ropes for the lines?!?! I was in the first 50 and we had to yell at people not to cut. Besides that good job Busch. Awesome coaster!!

RE: Verbolten

He front seems reeeally fast and i got great air time once in the event building. First time i rode it 2 rows from the back 2 nd time was front row. I think i may like the front better. Doing 2nd or 3rd row this time :)

RE: Verbolten

From pictures the stage shape looks awkward, but it is a nice position. It does look like they put a lot of effort into a temporary stage, don't you think?

RE: Verbolten

Are they doing the assigned row thing?

Also, I can confirm there has been at least one iphone lost so far on it.

I just rode it twice and they are not assigning rows. They do direct you to one of the two loading stations but once you're in there you can choose the row you want.

Also the posted wait time was 1 hour at the entrance but it only took 35 minutes with four trains running (yellow is still down).

The on-ride video cameras aren't working yet as well. They expect to have them operating next weekend.

Wow. Be curious to hear details from others on wait times. I was there early this morning, but had to leave before the ceremony. Looked like the park was going to be packed today though. Anybody have any comment on how long the line got? Out of the queue?

RE: Verbolten

In line with my Big Bad Wolf shirt on!
They are using the full queue but it is moving very fast, just like last week. They had not opened the Germany parking lot as of about 30 minutes ago.

I was told an hour as well, but got on in about 30 minutes. They had 4 trains running the whole time I was there and the line really never stopped.

Verbolten RULES!!! :D

Added bonus for today - Apollos was deserted! Walked straight thru 3 - 4 times.

GREAT day!!!
