RE: Verbolten

Im sure something will happen at that first break run in the building, i hope it does slow down a bit then go down that left drop up into the drop section, where the vines crush you as you said.

RE: The Verbolten HHT

what car they modelled the trains after?
how do they handle light going in and out of the tunnels?
on ride video?

RE: Verbolten

I think it would be cool if they had brake lights on the car that turned on at every brake run... Just sayin

RE: The Verbolten HHT

I just want to know what some of the effects will be along with some of the other first besides the drop track...

RE: The Verbolten HHT

Pictures of the station, queue, inside of the event building and the bridge and trains. As for questions:

- What are all the effects?
- What is a moon box?
- What is the time it takes the ride to get from the station, back to the station exactly?
- What is the exact planned opening date, not time of year or season?
- What are some of the issues you have run into with construction?
- What are the headlights functions? Do they turn on throughout the ride during the night on only in the event building during they day? Do they have multiple functions? Are they bright? Are they solar powered and light sensitive?
- Which train is modeled after what type of car?
- Is there going to be a first rider's auction or contest?
- Can I get a Verbolten construction hard hat?

The end of my interrogation. If anybody does get a Verbolten construction hard hat, I will pay for it!!! Or at least try to custom order my own online!

RE: Verbolten

I am not too sure about the projection, however that would be an excellent effect. It would prove to be rather interesting. I think that we will see some chasing of wolves in the building. As far as firsts go, it is big firsts for Busch Gardens and Zierer but as for the world or the country, there doesn't seem to be many of those. I am sure the park is keep quiet a few surprises.

The headlights, from sources, will work inside the building during the day and both inside and out during the night. This is actually very simple to get done. The headlights could be solar powered. Whenever it is dark they simply turn on by themselves like solar powered patio lights. Also, as for the black light effect, the headlights wouldn't kill that completely. It depends on how bright the headlights are and how strong the black lights are. I think the headlights won't be as bright as we expect, but bright enough to still be noticed and cool. The black lights I will assume will be a high output kind, that will be extremely strong.

You just way over complicated the entire headlight scenario.

If they were to have the 270 degree projector on the ride, I think it would be at the drop track portion of the ride. It would provide a little show when your waiting for the track to drop. Also, if the headlights were blacklights, wouldn't it be harder for people that aren't in the first couple rows to see the effect?

I think they might do something like this. Not necessarily projector screens, but probably some animatronics that have to do with the reason you are dropping. You don't just go riding down a road and randomly the asphalt gives out on you so you drop 10 feet.. This would also contribute to a longer ride time.

RE: Verbolten

Also, with a projection system, they can make it seem like you are falling a lot farther than 10 ft

You might as well say "Take me over every inch of this ride, including trains, and tell me every little disgusting detail of the ride and what it's like, and hey, while we're at it, can I keep the hard hat and maybe get a few for my friends too?"

RE: The Verbolten HHT

I'll do what I cn without sounding like an a$$. Video and pics shouldnt be an issue. Hardhat is all mine if I get one....sry

RE: Verbolten

The most logical story for the drop track IMO is somehow getting onto a tree, and the tree limbs giving way. It would make sense of the vines and branches. Don't ask me how the car would get onto a tree though. ;)

RE: Verbolten

From what I've seen from the trailers, it also looks like the tree is holding another car in it's grasp. I wonder if, whenever the tree comes, this will be a part of the scene too. It would be pretty cool to have the tree lashing out at you and seeing the broken down car that could soon be your fate.
