I've personally heard people tell me everything from "It's not a big issue that needs to be fixed, it'll be open by mid-June," to "It won't open again this season."

Which tells me that, really, no one knows anything about a real reopening timeline. Perhaps not even Zamperla or Cedar Point.

The claims out there are reading to me like a mix of hopium and the typical wild speculation that makes its way through the social media grapevine until it becomes fact. The night testing really doesn't tell you anything.

You might be able to add SFA as successful too later this summer, but then I suppose Mind Eraser doesn't count as iconic. lol. However I'm excited to try that renovation out.

Zamperla is looking to hire a Stress Analysis Engineer.

Job description (translated from Italian): To reinforce our Engineering team we are looking for an engineer to insert in area stress analysis. The Stress Analysis Chief Engineer is responsible for verifying the reliability of the technical solutions, guaranteeing the security and integrity of the machine for the entire life cycle of the stress.

Now the question is – Is this a brand new position or did they have one before that they got rid of over this TT2 fiasco?

In all seriousness this isn’t a good look for either party right? Zamperla’s untested product for failing and CP for replacing an oft down somewhat prototype rude with an actual prototype that’s looking to possibly have prolonged downtime already.

Should we be calling it TT3 when it comes back?

One gets what one pays for most of the time.
In CPs defense, there weren't really good options here. They either had to: continue to throw money at the original Dragster, tear it down and seriously impact their park brand in the process, or go this third route with Zamperla. It was a gamble with any option and there were going to be issues navigating through it.

4) work with Intamin to improve upon the original design.
