RE: This is Oktoberfest (1976 to 2011, 2013 to Present)
^ It means that all the shitty shows will be fruitlessly tweaked and revised and will return for yet another torturous, embarrassing season, and all the shows that had either a sliver of entertainment value (Mix It Up!) or some connection to the park's history (This Is Oktoberfest) have finally been eliminated. Way to go, Ent!

I have no idea what they might do, but I think that even they should have learned their lesson from the first time. The amount of public outcry due to the removal of TiO was/is unprecedented. Keep in mind that this was still after they ruined the show towards the end of 2011. This would just be a way for them to dig their own grave(deeper).
RE: This is Oktoberfest (1976 to 2011, 2013 to Present)
From a few anecdotes I've heard, this past season of TIO wasn't that great. Perhaps they tried a milder version of "screw up the show until its satisfaction numbers sink, then cancel it".
RE: This is Oktoberfest (1976 to 2011, 2013 to Present)
I thought this year's show was better than 2013, honestly. The performance seemed to run more smoothly, and the costumes looked much better this year. I also loved the return of the marching through Oktoberfest proceeding into the Festhaus.
If that was Scott's attempt at making the show worse, maybe he just has the concepts of "bad" and "good" mixed up all along.
RE: This is Oktoberfest (1976 to 2011, 2013 to Present)
The Oompa band was playing at the speed of light, other than that, they were all cast issues, who thought they were making the show better by being very annoying. Still nowhere near as bad as 2011.

I think you're only thinking about one part of a dance, and using it to assume about the whole show.
Chicken Dance is always fun, it creates cherished memories for kids. Some of my favorite memories are from doing the chicken dance as a kid, if you don't like that, fine, you're not forced to do it anyway.
RE: This is Oktoberfest (1976 to 2011, 2013 to Present)
In all fairness, the Chicken Dance is something of a staple, as is the show (hence the huge demand to bring it back). Whether it's a real "dance" is almost besides the point because of it's significance at the park. I do agree that it is a silly thing in general.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I see the show on a regular basis, and I know they do more than skip. I'm not disagreeing with you that they do skip, but to simply say "All they do is skip," when they clearly do something more than that, is not something I like to hear.
