Eesh! That is high. Well, maybe we should all shoot for the coaster tour instead next year! That, I know is cheaper and has an amazing look at all the work that goes into running a coaster. It is a shame, I would have enjoyed a Christmas Town behind the scenes - come to think of it; it is a bit silly for Busch Gardens to ask for such a high price... what with everyone pinching pennies to buy gifts. Not to mention, you have the cost of parking too if you are not passholders. Now if Two people could go for $100.00 behind the scenes, that may be worth the price.
My wife took my son on the coaster tour this summer. It was $70 for the tour BUT you have to be 14 or older to take the trolley to the top of the Griffon platform. Since my son only turned 7, they gave us the tour for half price ($35 each) with the Griffon/trolley part being the only thing excluded. Apparently anyone can request to skip that part and get the tour for half price.
More than worth it! The tour was over 2 hours, they got to ride Loch Ness, Apollo, Alpen, Griffon, (and BBW at the time) twice each during the tour and then got a Quick Queue for the rest of the day after the tour was over (so taking out value of the QQ, the tour itself was only $20!). And we got a photo CD with like a hundred pictures from the tour mailed to us like a week later

I don't need to tell everyone what the weather is going to be like this weekend and it sounds like even the park is keeping an eye on it to determine if they're going to close or not. So, with that said, I'll be keeping an eye on it as well since there is really no reason to go if it's raining, cold and windy. That doesn't lead to a good time, so, I'll make a decision on whether or not I'll be going to the park at about noon tomorrow and will let everyone know.
For me the weather is not an issue - as snow would be awesome at the park. If the park is open, I would still be up for going. If not, and the park is closed, I will be going Sunday regardless.

No, I still plan on recording the podcast tomorrow and I'm thinking (if it's alright with you Nora), I can call you from Skype during the recording and we can talk to you for a little bit about Christmas Town. If that sounds alright, just let me know and we can figure the logistics out.
No worries. That sounds fine. Two of my friends have already said they would go tomorrow if the park is open.
Although I just checked the radar- there in no percip. in sight (the bulk of the storm has already passed) and the sun is out here... grrrrrrrr...... stupid weather. Looks like the park closed for nothing. (so far anyway)

I know. I am just disappointed.

I've had a very tough schedule at work and this was my day to have fun and relax. Just being a bit bummed out at the moment and of course, venting as well.
