5'6", I sit anywhere I damn well please!

I'm 6'5" and I sit anywhere I can fit; then where I want. ;)
This evening I rode in the last car of Nessie in the back seat; it was awesome!! Now, it does indeed have WAY less legroom, and yes, I too had to turn my leg out a bit to sit. Only a very small person could sit with me. Otherwise I'm riding alone back there. I also felt more secure being wedged in like that. I did not think it was any rougher, smoother, etc. I dunno...I enjoyed it as I always enjoy Nessie. I do love seeing the rest of the cars in front of me as I'm going last through the loop. Will be doing this more often now. Soooooooo cool!! :)

Email Larry Giles.

You guys really think he would do it?...
Now that I think about it, it is not a bad idea at all. It is certainly not impossible, if they REALLY wanted to do it, they could. Who knows...

That's just my joke I do every now and then. It is not to be confused with seriousness, ever.

OK, Would it be possible to turn one of Nessie's trains around so that it ran backwards just like Rebel Yell used to do?

I don't think any roller coaster that was not originally designed with trains facing backwards should have their trains turned backwards. It seems like a lazy way of trying to market an old ride as brand new.

For full disclosure, this is my opinion based on my thoughts and no ride experience. If you don't think I am qualified enough to make my own opinion or you do not favor it, just skip right over this post. No arguments please.

Who ever installed the new finale effects on Big Thunder Mountain should do Nessies cave with these effects.

The lighting for the lit fuses is amazing.

The fuses are not really appropriate for Nessie but maybe they could do fire effects on the walls of the cave along with smoke effects in places as you spiral down and install a Nessie head at the exit for A final big bang of smoke coming out of the mouth as you leave the cave for the second lift. Granted the trip down the spiral is a lot faster than a lift hill and it might be difficult to do getting the lighting to sync up with a fast moving coaster train but I am sure it wouldn't be impossible.

I know the Loch Ness Monster mythically is not a fire breathing water monster but it would be A neat addition to the helix section of the ride if something like this was added. Unless the story was spun that the monster was trapped in the cave and charges had been placed to flush it out and that would allow the fuse effect in the video above to be used. Either one would be an exciting addition to the ride IMO.

The Finale sequence is at around 2:50 in if not interested in the whole ride.

Just my thoughts.
