On the old trains the back row was honestly the best drop on any coaster i have ever riden. Something changed when they installed the new trains and it just doesn't pull on me the same way but it's still really good.

There's a lot of drops that have more and better air than Nessie, but it's very sudden and causes my stomach to clench unlike any other. Probably most similar, though much smaller, is Woodstock or the somewhat larger SFNE Thunderbolt, almost over before it even registers, and throws you forward, with Woodstock wanting to kill your knees. It's ejector for a couple milliseconds, but doesn't last long enough that you would make it out of the car.
There's still some bouncing in the back rows coming out of the loops, but not near as bad as before. Once my shoulder blades kind of stuck on the backrest and felt like it tried to pull my spine apart.

Why? It just got new ones in 2018
Off-topic question- are the new effects (particularly the tunnel) still holding up or did i miss out? Haven;t been since June of 2023

Not to sound negative but, no audio at all and the helix screens are malfunctioning.
I really wish they had gone with lighting and paint instead of screens. The screens were doomed from the start. Definitely a situation where keeping it simple returns far better results long-term.
Busch has a bad habit of letting theming elements get broken and not replaced or fixed.
Where was there issue with no audio? I rode it today, and had no issues with audio where its normally been since 2024 on my times today. The screen is still glitchy in spots, but the same Nessie video run is visible.
Oddly by the time I came back around in the afternoon the audio was working.
Most of that is cracked grout around the support-- mostly cosmetic and nothing to worry about too much there.

One thing that I always have confidence in is BGWs ride maintenance. Maybe I’m being too optimistic but I’ve never felt anything unsafe with any rides here at BGW!
Sort of. It obviously needs attention but it's not a reason for closure. There's a lot of things going on under the concrete that you don't see.
