From Carl Lum interview 01/16/2015

Busch Gardens itself recently experienced some national controversy over severed heads displayed during Howl-O-Scream, it's annual Halloween makeover. The heads were displayed during the wake of several high-profile beheadings by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

"That was a sad situation," Lum said, referring to the beheadings. He harbors no regret over his decision to remove the severed heads. "It would be insensitive to not respond to that. I thought about that for about 10 seconds. It was a pretty easy decision. Why be disrepectful? You make an adjustment."

Am I the only one puzzled as to why they had to can all the severed heads for HOS, but Lum isn't ditching this scene from DarKastle...?

Kind of contradicting if I might say so myself...

So, I know it isn't 2014, but I had to share a very upsetting experience I had just night at CW's Haunting on DoG St (Curse of the Sea Witch). There was a severed head. Right there for everyone to see. And they didn't even try to hide it. In fact, they waved it around in front of the entire audience. Shocking.

Nicole,
You need to contact the most important news outlet in the Commonwealth, The Virginia Gazette. They were the first to bring the head issue to light back in 2014!
