Trust me, the more coasters you ride, the less you will like OSTRs and gratuitous seatbelts.
Seriously, in my experience as you grow more comfortable with coasters, you also become acclimated to the danger and need increased thrills. You also learn to trust the restraints.
I'm not a fan of Tempesto, but I think the park ruined the one interesting aspect of the coaster by adding the pointless "comfort collars."
Apollo and Fury wouldn't be as good, if they had OSTRs, instead of lap restraints.
One last thought, OSTRs can beat up people's heads, depending on height. There are several, no doubt, great inverts that I dislike, because I emerge with a massive headaches. Afterburn, for example.
