I am assuming it was on the roof of the station so yes while it was a stupid thing to do it wasn't completely without logic.

I was wondering where it fell too. My guess is the new-ish catwalk at the top, because of the way everything is worded, it sounds like he was on his way up to the very top.

I believe there is 2 break points. And based on the wording in the original post, it says “second platform” which looks to be roughly 100’ up.

Not all that uncommon for a fairly minor charge assuming he is a first time offender with no history of issues. I mean a conviction is something that will haunt him for the rest of his life for a stupid teenage decision.

I'm way more surprised that he was only banned from BGW for a year. I've long heard about lifetime bans being handed out for far, FAR, FAR less.

To be clear, I don't think he deserves a lifetime ban from the park and hope it's a sign that the park isn't banning people indefinitely left and right anymore. Definitely support a more nuanced approach.

I think he should 1000% be giga banned 0 questions asked. Climbing a roller coaster during operating hours is so insanely stupid. It's not like a teenager who is young and dumb. Hes a grown man thinking climbing a coaster for a stupid cell phone makes any logical sense. I do not want to be associated in public with that kind of person. Sorry not sorry.
