Yeah, I’m sure it would probably be difficult to get actual guests up there because of legal things like waivers, etc. Still a pretty entertaining show though!

I mean I suspected that the first guy was a plant based on the nature of that part of the act and safety consideration but I thought the pair in the second part were genuine till I saw them again in my second watching. I still enjoyed it quite a bit it's just a little disappointing to learn when you see the number of genuine park goers that are enthusiastically waving their hands to be picked.

I smell another SEAS class action lawsuit for not getting noticed by the performer 😂

I also saw iLuminate on Monday, fantastic. Definitely better in person. Didn't have any problem getting in but crowds were light.

In other news, had a back row ride on Alpengeist that just hurt, Grizzly level. Big surprise, even after a front row ride. My right end ride on Griffon was shaky too. Every recent ride on Apollo has kicked ass, though. Left back rows. Pantheon is slowly seeming less strange, not many elements, all epic.

Awe man! I saw Styx,Loverboy, REO Speedwagon last week at the VB amphitheater. Styx especially rocked the house! I would have loved to to see ASIA today. When I was 5, I was drumming on boxes and pots to ASIA’s “Heat Of The Moment”!

Asia performed tonight and WOW what a great show! Sad though because it was probably the best concert of the summer and RP was only 1/3 full. They deserved better. The BGW entertainment team put on a heck of a production for them!

I wish I could've gone to this but I've been busy all weekend getting my niece ready for her move to university on Monday. I saw Asia on the first tour at the Norfolk Scope back in the day. They put on an awesome show. I hate that we lost their original singer John Wetton to cancer five years ago. I would've loved to see him perform live just one more time.

That's one of my favorite songs. I still play the hell out of that along with "Only Time Will Tell" and "Don't Cry" regularly.

I seen Asia also. I liked them but I was extremely disappointed that Carl Palmer wasn't on drums for some reason as ELP is one of my all time favorite bands and I really wanted to see him play as I never got the chance to see ELP in concert. Was supposed to see them and had tickets but the concert got cancelled as one of their tractor trailer trucks was in an accident on the way to the venue and some of their PA equipment got damaged and there was no way to get replacements in time for the concert. Otherwise enjoy these pictures.

Went to the pass member preview of Illuminate this afternoon. It is a MUST SEE! To say it was awesome is an understatement. It runs about 15-20 minutes.
Some pics from the show.

Nice pics. Sorry for your ELP story. So, you are a drummer/percussionist too, huh?
I’m 42, so, it’s my dad that brought me up on ELP, Captain Beyond, Genesis (the progressive 70’s years), Yes. Rush was a massive influence on me…Neil Peart! Then, I’m sure you know Dream Theater. 👍
