I didn't even like Spark that much but damn, talk about a senseless death. It was relatively cheap and quite popular. A couple concerts (which have LONG underperformed at BGW) isn't a good replacement at all.

It's honestly a super troubling sign to me regarding the state of Ent inside BGW these days. They have so, so, so few products this year—so much of their domain is being outsourced. 🙁

My kids were big time into SPARK last year.

Watched it at least 5 times last year and waited to see if it might open up on a rainy night (it didn't) at least 3 more times.

It's a shame this isn't back or replaced with something comparable.

I have not been to BGW since 2018 I think. I am curious, based on the comments I have seen about staffing/operations in the park currently, what people think the lines will be like at this location to redeem a free item or the .50 beer. This seems like a good way to lure people in but has the potential to be a disaster if staffing is not in place to support.

When they have done it in the past it was 2 or 3 people and the lines have moved fast. I really don't anticipate an issue with that.

When they have done the free beer before it was at the Festhaus and a seperate line from the rest of the food and there was nothing to pay for. It was quick and effichent, walk up get a hand stamp and a beer and your done. Now at Grogans, which has super long lines on weekends and soem weekdays at times will even be longer. Not sure how many will wait 30 minutes for 7 free ounces of beer......on top of that they will probably not let you get your free sample and buy the .50 cent ones at the same time with their one drink per id rule. Wonder what size the .50 pours are? If those are 7oz just think, you could easily waste a hour to get 21oz of Bud Light or Miller Lite.

You do realize it's at Grogan's GRILL as in the old O'taters place across from Finnigan right? There is nothing in there after F&W so this litterly is a location just for this. They also have used it before for it. The way it works you enter through the usual line they scan your pass check ID and hand stamp at the register location send you in you pickup your beer and walk out smooth easy and fast

This was our experience with it as well. No wait whatsoever, and the employee even joked that she wished she could give out more than one per member since she had so little to do.

Ahhh....I didnt read the "Grill" part. Also, I must have missed the time they had free beer there before as I always remember it being in the Festhaus.

Looks like SEAS might be doing free beer across all of its parks, in addition to BGT (previously announced) and BGW, as I just got emails about San Antonio and Orlando...
