Pretty sure there are other parks in the chain who could make better use of it than a future flagship like SFGAdv. Ship it to Dorney. Much more appropriate for that park's attendance level.

Yes, a 4D free spin coaster could easily be shipped to a different park. It also should not be in one of the most prominent locations at any park let alone Great Adventure. Honestly Fort Independence and the grandstand fit the vibe better than Joker.
or even better, move any free spin coaster from the big name six flags parks (expect fiesta Texas since they got one) and replace these with better coasters

Most legacy Six Flags FreeSpins are just fine where they are. SFGAdv is a unique situation because theirs is so uniquely, horrendously placed that it physically blocks a huge, underutilized park asset—the lake.
If I were master planning SFGAdv, I'd advocate keeping this whole area unobstructed for a huge, lakeside promenade with ample room for nighttime show viewing (fireworks, drones, fountains, whatever they want to do over the lake):
Toss a large, flagship, lakeside, Cedar Point Grand Pavilion-style restaurant with a second story balcony overlooking the lake off to the side for upcharge nighttime show viewing.
If the park wants to build rides along the water (I support it, to be clear!), I think redeveloping this area for that purpose would be best:

I love this idea!! I would love to see the ski show brought back too.
I felt the better idea is since the theme park has a record of having a history of shuttle coasters, how about the first theme park to move a coaster else where in the park, I will start with moving the joker to either golden kingdom (give it a jungle theme) or to movietown/metropolis

Possible Return of Golden Kingdom in 2027?
In Collin’s interview with park leadership, they mentioned the desire to have more animal encounters within the park similar to there safari event in April. They hinted at even more integration in 2027 with new experiences. I wonder if they would bring back the wild walk way and theater to bring life back to the section of the park. The Golden Kingdom which is still entirely intact has not been used since 2024 which makes it almost 3 years! It would be bad to leave it empty for so long especially since it’s the best themed area of the park. I wonder if they would leave it closed Into another major attraction is announced or open it in a phased approach starting with animal encounters entertainment etc which could start next year!

This probably won't be a popular opinion, but I'd rather they let Golden Kingdom sit until a genuine oppertunity emerges. Everything left standing is over 20 years old, the theming is no longer up to par for modern parks, and it still is effectively a dead end branching off of another dead end in the park layout. The park also isn't hurting for projects in the existing footprint: Jr. Thrillseekers, Lakefront, BBNP, Frontier Adventures all are in desparete need of help, and more immediately visible to guests.
Honestly, I think it's time to let the GK theme go entirely. Any new development in the area is likely going to coincide with a teardown of everything left standing, so why not finally shed the last baggage from Ka? You can have the new attraction headline the area, and it won't be as obvious that the land was existentially kneecaped in 2024.

yeah, it be too soon to do something with golden kingdom because of kingda ka, and if golden kingdom do comeback, it be more on the level of jungle x area at kings dominion
I honestly hate how much I agree with this.
There’s definitely some nostalgia clouding my judgment because I grew up 15 minutes from Great Adventure, and my earliest real memories of the park are basically tied to this era. I remember the Kingda Ka announcement, signing the track, Golden Kingdom opening, then Plaza del Carnaval and El Toro in 2006, which was also the year I started working there as my first job. So I’ll always have a huge soft spot for that entire side of the park.
But Golden Kingdom is also probably one of the best examples of Great Adventure building something spectacular and then doing almost nothing to ensure it stayed that way. When it opened, it was honestly top tier for a regional park. Ka was one hell of a centerpiece, but you had the animals, kids attractions, the water play area, the theater, shops, food, and some genuinely impressive theming tying everything together.
And then it was slowly dismantled piece by piece.... Attractions disappeared, animals disappeared, things stopped operating, and nothing meaningful replaced them. Someone can correct me on the timeline, but by the end, I feel like Golden Kingdom had essentially become “just a path to Kingda Ka.” The land had been a shell of itself for years before Ka even closed.
So as much as the nostalgic part of me wants Golden Kingdom restored, I don’t really see the point anymore. Ka is gone, and so much of what made Golden Kingdom Golden Kingdom disappeared long before it did.
At this point, I’d rather they leave it alone until they’re ready to genuinely redevelop that entire section instead of dropping one random attraction into it. Give us a large signature attraction that headlines a completely new land, add a flat ride or two, a restaurant, retail, landscaping/theming, and most importantly, use the redevelopment to finally connect Boardwalk through to Plaza del Carnaval/El Toro and eliminate the dead end situation.
And honestly, I don’t think the new area even needs to be Golden Kingdom 2.0. Respect what was there, absolutely. Work in some subtle nods to Ka and Golden Kingdom for people who remember it. But otherwise, pivot. New identity, new anchor, new reason for that entire side of the park to exist.
If they’re going to eventually tear down most of what remains anyway, I’d rather wait for a project ambitious enough to actually give that area a second life.
This is absolutely all it was, sadly. Can’t even really call it a path to Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro when the walk from the entrance to the base of the tower was just as long as Boardwalk to Ka, if not longer. Whatever is next for that area needs to be far more connected and populated, and that needs to be maintained long term.

Interesting debate here. But I have to mention this…Great Adventure is one of the few animal parks in the chain and the safari is not well integrated into the park. The safari and its thousands of animals is a major component of this park and right now it’s just treated as a bonus. The golden kingdom serves the perfect opportunity to integrate the safari as a major anchor for the park. The jungle, discovery theme and interactive educational presentations that they had really brought the “Great Adventure” to this park. Despite its neglect, it still was an immersive well themed area and updating can make wonders. The area does not have to be a dead end and can easily connect with plaza de carvel as it originally did. I can’t see any better themed section replacing it and it does not make sense. It’s too good to let it be demolished and it always had so much potential. I expect the new sixflags to definitely understand the value of having the golden kingdom. A restored golden kingdom can be the best themed area of the park and is the obvious solution to integrating the safari and animals into the park.
