I just read Zach's blog post and I have two immediate questions:

1. Where is Lady Liberty's flame? The torch looks pathetic without it.
2. Why did they put the glow stand next to a mister? Water really doesn't mix well with electronics or fabric.

Everything with the park now is becoming an "at least." "At least it's not as bad as that," " At least it's not as bad as this." If we keep saying "at least" the park will just keep getting worse and worse. Because the park will just keep thinking everything they do is okay, and they'll never try to improve themselves anymore.

Maybe people are saying at least because they genuinely enjoy the changes. As I've said before this surpasses my expectations and I know I will thoroughly enjoy the event.

Good for you, because I won't. I'll just suffer with the majority of other people, while you keep accepting mediocrity.

What expectations does this event surpass?

I expected you to like whatever shit the park threw together regardless of quality or adhesion to theme... so I guess there is that.

Our biggest foe is our inclination towards complacency and willingness to settle for mediocrity.

I think this is the post you all are looking for:

Sorry to play devil's advocate, but I kind of like the decor. It could have been a WHOLE LOT WORSE!! It doesn't look amazing, and it definitely doesn't fit the theme of San Marco, but I still like it. Can't wait to see it in person.

I read back through the thread- "it could have been worse" was never said by Party Rocker- he said it exceeded his expectations.

My apologies. I was using PR's later post as an example, though my original comment was aimed toward what was said above. PR did thank the post and defended the use of why people are saying "at least," which is where I confused myself. Again I don't mean to insult anyone and I simply want to make a point based on what is being said. I do apologize.
