It's supposed to rain and honestly workers are normally in about an hour and a half to 2 hours earlier than a restaurant opening. Plus no matter how long you work. BGW's policy is you get paid for at least 2 hours even if you get some home early. So if she did get in at 11 then she got paid for 2 hours and only did one hour of work. So, we are currently sitting at Marco Polos eating. When we were ordering at 12:12 a person came up to the person serving my food and told her that as soon as she finishes serving me to clock out and go home. The girl asks why, she said something about projections or crowds or something. Doesn’t Marco Polos open at 11? So she came all the way to work for a hour? And they wonder why they have trouble keeping employees.
This is simply the park is probably really slow today because the weather sucks. A lot of people know that when they come to work that they are probably going to go home early on a day like today. This is not just a BGW issue. The same thing happens at literally every theme park on the planet. Even Disney World. When it rains there aren't a lot of people in the park so they don't need as many employees.
