My concern comes from the fact that SFAs version was built over two decades ago, and has already been relocated once. Having to go through that process a second time would probably make the ride more unenjoyable than it already is, especially when you consider the fact that it’s been at a park notorious for nonexistent maintenance for over a decade.
They’re portable coasters, made to travel. This isn’t too much of a concern.

Like I said though, I hope (and do think) it would be a temporary addition in order to get…something in that area.

I think if ragin cajun do ends up moving to six flags great adventure, my guess it would given a wild mouse theme to fit in with the boardwalk theme

If it's true that they're getting Ragin' Cajun, I hope they name it "Kingda Ka's Legacy"... just because it would be entertaining to watch the reactions online.
At least it would get people to stop pretending Flash is Ka’s replacement. Y’know, the ride that was built and originally scheduled to open when Ka was still operating.

The park has already had its experience with an unpopular relocated ride once, I doubt they’d try to do that again unless they’re truly broke and are going through with a relocation because it’d be cheaper than building something new.
Ragin Cajun actually is fairly popular and usually has a decent line. I could see it making good sense to relocate it.

If Ragin Cajun comes to that plot, I’ll bet they retheme Superman.

If I had my way, they’re paint it sky blue and call it Kitesurfer. With individually colors trains painted to look like kites, and a loose boardwalk/beach theme. The entrance building could even be a kite/gear shop. Bonus points if you find a way to add water under the course.
I like your idea about retheming Superman, but considering the popularity of the new movie, I think they'll want to hang on to that brand for a while longer.

The retheme discussion has made me realize that Superman is now the only DC themed coaster outside of Joker and HQTC (which I expect to see removed in the next five years) that’s not in Movietown/Metropolis. Would make even more sense to retheme it due to that, give it the Poltergeist treatment and give it an elaborate theme.

I’d love to see a Sky theme like what was mentioned earlier, akin to the one on the giant discovery at GAm.

if superman do get a new ride, it would be in the movietown area in the stunt arena site (or maybe not because dc comics licensing is set to be expired in 2028)

I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t just build a new wild mouse from the ground up like they did at Cedar Point. If the past 10-15 years of GAdv have taught us anything, it’s that cheaping out isn’t a great way to run a park, especially if they’re trying to pull said park out of a hole.

Because it would likely be a temporary addition while they build the Boardwalk section back up from the poor state it’s been in for years. Why buy a brand new coaster that will probably only be there for a few seasons when there’s a perfectly serviceable one that’ll be up for grabs less than 3 hours away?

Glad to hear things are moving along! I’ve been moving (today’s the day, can’t wait to be done with this) so I haven’t followed as closely as I generally would, but there’s one thing that’s stuck out to me about the concerns of a delay the more I’ve thought about it.

This is still very early for Great Adventure to start construction compared to many, if not all, of their large additions over the past 15ish years. GASM’s land wasn’t cleared until the end of August/beginning of September, same goes for Aqua Spectacle/Great Lake Grandstand to make way for Joker, and admittedly I don’t remember much of JDC’s construction as I had just started the first job I was ever truly committed to, but I also feel like it was the same timeframe. Rolling Thunder also operated until September 8th, and I don’t recall Ka being closed early in 2013 for Zumanjaro’s construction.

With the land already being cleared months ago, this is relatively ahead of schedule all things considered.

Yeah it seems like they’re definitely prioritizing getting this thing up and running, very Cedar Fair-ish.

I also think there’s a good explanation for the FAA thing or whatever it’s called. The Mack spinner (best for everyone to assume that’s what’s coming at this point) will take a ton of power to operate. They’re obviously going to try and get that aspect of the ride sorted first. By the time they get the track and are ready to go vertical, that’s probably when they’ll file their permits.

Word on the street is that Flash’s delay was caused by issues with the local power company. They probably don’t want something like that happening again.

Do you guys think this can be true? And watching coaster and brews most recent video they mention the same and they were also kinda spot on with the construction start of project 2026.

They’re not going to follow a plan written 8 years ago by different president when CF wasn’t even in the picture.

It’s going to be the spinner. Anyone trying to believe otherwise is just setting themselves up for disappointment.

They’re claiming that Great Adventure bought a coaster that likely cost over $30 million in 2022 and just didn’t build it? Also that’s Selim era Six Flags so I just don’t believe they would’ve been willing to buy something like that then.
