It really is starting to feel like Six Flags just isn't planning to pull any assets out of this property, right...? Two and a half months since the closure, I haven't seen any signs of any forthcoming work on the public record, it looks like nothing is even receiving the minimum amount of upkeep, and many attractions look like they've been left exactly as they were closing night. Was there just... not a plan? Maybe Six Flags just decided writing off all the assets was more valuable/easier than working to relocate or sell any of them...?
Would love to know what the third party ride brokers are thinking right now. I know there's demand in that side of the industry for a number of the attractions in this park, but we're seeing zero movement on that front too. Awful.
I guess maybe the "major hopium overdose" explanation could be that a park operator actually has been at the negotiating table and their offer is contingent on the current attractions remaining on the site...? Think Six Flags walking away and wanting to wash their hands of the site is more likely, but...
