RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Thanks is going to look a bit different now- hope no one minds. Anyway, more work was done tonight...

All of that is automatic. No more selecting what park a thread is about. Also, for the record, Shane put together those icons and icons for all the other parks on the Other Parks board. Yes, it was an absurdly large project and yes, you should thank Shane for the work he put into them. They look fantastic.

Lastly, thanks to Alpenghost for all the design input tonight!

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Is there a set date for when all this will be happening or will things be rolling out slowly?

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

When things are done basically. Everyone here lives far too chaotic of lives to even think about giving estimates.

Few changes made last night with Alpenghost's input. Both of us felt the top bars were very rough looking. I think this improves them a bit.

Have the advertisements already started? Or is there something funky going on on my end?

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Thanks. I'll have to take a look at my computer, then. :dodgy:

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Does anyone use the "Next Oldest" and "Next Newest" buttons on the forum? Don't want to remove them if people do.

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

I didn't even know those existed.

So no. ;)

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

I use them more than my own lungs. Please don't remove.

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Actually, I was trying to think what you were talking about, but yea I don't use them myself, but if Alpen needs them, they should stay.

RE: The ParkFans Network: Site Updates & Changes

Thanks for the input you guys. Trying to work out how I want threads displayed in the next version of the forum theme and removing those frees up some much needed real estate.

Facebook post embedding works now (in theory). Let me know if you have any problems.

Code:
[facebook=post url]

Example:

Note: When you use it you'll have to refresh the page for it to show up.
