The mobile site is a plugin for the site. So that is all Gavin and Zachary's area of work, blame them :p

The only thing Chris and David do with the forum integration is provide an in-app web browser that is automatically links to the forums(correct me if i'm wrong Chris or David).

Not sure if its just me but the button for rating a user from mobile doesn't work. Don't know if that's something Chris has to fix because he does the app or if y'all can fix it.

This is actually an insanely old bug with the mobile forums (it's been there for about 3+ years). Haven't really had the time to look into it either. :/

They actually don't even do that much; they just steal code and re-skin other people's apps.

I looked over it while eating dinner, and was able to fix it. Lemme know if you have anymore issues.

Posts on the two ParkFans blogs now have small social media bars under the header images to remind people to like and follow the site to stay up-to-date on new posts. Evan and I are both going to try to increase the social media footprints of our blogs over this season- I feel social media is something we've done a pretty bad job with previously. Anyway, you can check out the new bar here. While you're there, like and follow KDFans! :D

Just made some spacing tweaks on the blogs. While this will make Evan's and I's lives a ton easier from now on, unfortunately, it means there may be some rather large spacing in previous (non-updated) posts. I've updated the most recent posts on both sites so they should look right. Also, I plan to go back and update a few of the older posts that still get some traffic as well.

Don't ask me why I took so long to do this but all links inside posts should now be underlined. If you don't see it immediately it may take a bit for your browser's CSS cache to refresh- just give it a day or two or do it manually.

Just finished up some minor forum rearranging and renaming. Most notably "Other Local Attractions" boards for officially covered parks are now in the appropriate park's "Everything Else" board. This was done to make room for site-specific boards. These boards will be used to discuss site-specific matters, posts, changes, etc. Additionally, you will find the boards for the specific site's apps there as well. This nullifies the need for a ParkFans Mobile board and thus, it has been removed.

From David's BGWFans for Android thread:

The main site is finally mobile friendly again. I had no hand in that, but it does make the app that much better to use. So props to the admin crew for making that happen.

Since it was brought up I should point out that the mobile version is very much still a work in progress and should be considered an early beta. I hacked a few things together in the span of about 2 hours last night to get it working but there's still a good amount of work I need to do. KDFans will get the mobile treatment after the BGWFans version is finalized.

Mind if I bring up a small change idea? Change the word on the 'Thanks' button to 'Like'.....Seems to be more in line with what we're trying to say in the first place. Or you could just replace it with 'HELL YEAH'.....Your choice. :)

This is something that has been talked about and we've tried some other options, the thanks feature is not exactly the way we want it, I don't think we will see it changed anytime soon though, but you are not the only person who think this :)
