Not defending the kids at all, but I’ll take breaking props over assaulting actors.
Overall it just speaks to a lack of respect IMO. Like not sure why we should have to say "I rather see destruction of property over assault" (not a disagreement with your statement, more a wish it didn't have to be a post).

Just takes me back to the thought of there's many complains about any restrictions on chaperone, separate tickets, age restrictions, banning, and the like - but often those are the same people that would complain about the poor quality of things. And then on top of that (and yes worked at country clubs with this issue) you can often have parents make a complaint of "well if you didn't want them to break it you shouldn't have put that out where they could reach". It's just so bothersome that these days there's parents out there who take the attitude of we need to do this stuff thinking about their kids rather than be a parent and tell their kid 'no' once in a blue moon.

/rant

Sorry about that. Just grown adults having to say "I choose one bad over another" with the attitude some parents I've seen have really bothers me. That's why I'm all for the park dropping the hammer on families and kids like this and doing some things to restrict access.

A group of teens pulled a fire alarm at Manor last night. Witness who was there and watched it happen said the people were IDed, but the group left without any security interference. Maybe they were found later? Sorta seems unlikely though.

Someone also reported walking through a house behind an incredibly disruptive, belligerent guy who was getting in actors faces and ranting the whole way through a house. House ops never pulled him.

We need a chaperone policy. We need night vision cameras throughout houses with security watching from above (see: HHN). We need house ops to pull people from houses liberally when there is any indicator of any aggression or destructive or disruptive behavior. We need higher prices to dissuade trouble makers from seeing the event as a cheap opportunity to get all their friends together and cause trouble. We need a higher quality event that will attract a more discerning audience. We need better in-park food, beverage, and merch offerings to boost in-park spend without having to overrun the park with everyone they can find each night.

All of these things are possible, but all of these things are what we've been begging for for years now and nothing ever changes. And the longer they wait, the longer it will take to turn the ship around.

lets be honest the state (VA) is the worst one...but i feel like ....an at least they are trying is to be commended. In this day and age right?
