I doubt they'll nix the starbucks...

they might use the georgia brand in other areas like food carts and eating areas, but it wouldn't make sense to get rid of the starbucks in Ireland

Anything's possible - Starbuck's bottled Frappuccino is manufactured by PepsiCo, and it's not like Starbucks has really been in the parks all that long...

Starbucks has recently come into the park, and honestly if they were to get rid of Starbucks, that would mean the removal of the small, minuscule Starbucks signs, Starbucks coffee machines, and everything else. I don't see it being a big hassle to get rid of Starbucks. Plus, maybe they will only get rid of the Pepsi Co. bottled products and not the made on site stuff?

Agreed, Starbucks coffee machines and products are normally a different contract.

Kings Dominion is Coca-Cola and has a Starbucks.
I'm glad that Cedar Fair doesn't have a national contract Coca-Cola like Six Flags did. The good thing is that Cedar Fair lets it's parks do this at the local level, since Cedar Point is a Pepsi park.

Actually it is because of the Paramount parks. Coke had a deal with Paramount and Cedar Fair still has to honor that. Once the deal is over Kings Dominion will probably be switching to Pepsi... which will suck.

I can see that happening. Since, I can drink Coke or Pepsi which is a good thing for me.

I was talking with a few people, honestly I think the change will be gradual over the next few weeks. Just think of all the machines and products that need to be taken out. Plus, what if the park have leftover syrup, do they return it or sell it until it is sold out?

I know someone who works for Coke, and they will take it back, but I don't know about Pepsi. I would assume it is the same tho.

After all the park already bought it, so would they get a refund or just simply sell the rest? But I think they will sell the rest until they run out. I know in a few soda machines, they were frequently sold out of bottled drinks and some of the fountain drink options varied throughout the day. But like I said, it will probably be more gradually and less suddenly.

I think Pepsi is the same Coke and Pepsi more in likely will take the unsold product back.

@screamscape @ThemeParkReview No coke at BGT yet. They are using up the rest of their Pepsi supplies. Should be 2-4 weeks. (via @screamscape)

So now you know.
Gavin, I would said like this "Now you know the rest of the story"

Oh good. I was so worried about when Tampa would deplete their stockpile and start to pull machines. Thank you Gavin. *rolls eyes.

BGW has already received and installed Coke vending machines, that have taken the place of a few Pepsi machines. Not sure if they are operational yet, but they are there and set-up.
