Just to point this out there, we are in the RUMORS forum. Regardless of SDG's wording, by placing his thread in Rumors I would take that as a disclaimer that this thread is mostly rumors that can't solidly be proven.
Also, the Entertainment industry by it's very nature is not a promising industry at all. It is very hard to get jobs and then to get jobs consistently unless you are a very well known name. Because for the most part, these shows are just really "projects". Once they are over with for the season, you lose your job practically and are in need of a new one. This is how the industry works on the daily. It should be expected.
Now personally, I am leaning more towards SDG's posts because it does match a few things I have heard. I am still on the fence because I have heard good and bad about the department the past five or so years. However, should SDG be correct entirely, it really is heinous. Although I will say this wouldn't be the first time the park has put team members in a dangerous conditions, especially the entertainment department.
I have heard, seen, and experienced some of the worst conditions in the entertainment department firsthand. The department is very all over the place. Their goal is to get things done by the deadline (no pun intended). They ignore other departments, and I would go so far as to say they rule the park to an extent. Think of Entertainment as the playground bully.
That is my own personal take on the department, and not the lower paid employees, but the upper management pay grade.
Now should SDG's claims prove false, I wouldn't be too surprised as the park does have high standards.
In the end, there is always some truth behind every rumor.
