Hopefully there are plans to roll out a significant website overhaul of all of the Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks that will provide better ways for parks to communicate ride status. Right now they just really don't seem to have a good way to do that.
Don't they already have this? Not my screenshot but it looks like they have a way to show closed rides already:

Sounds like they don't want to show too many closed rides at once. The flipside is when things are removed, that's when rumors start up.

Yeah, in the app they display closures well, but I don't think I've seen something similar done on the websites. Maybe I'm just visiting the wrong Six Flags parks though. 😋

so, I bet the rides will be reopened in 2026 (I mean, look at what happened with tango & Houdini and that one looney tunes ride in national park)

Do we know when this happened? I assume it had to be during morning testing or something—there weren't people aboard, right?

Absolutely insane photos though. I assume one of the boats pealed up the fiberglass in front of it and was "derailed" by the upturned piece pictured. Once that happened, if the logs kept coming, I assume the pileup pictured is what would result. Terrifying.
