can anyone snag some pics this weekend?
Forgot to snagg a picture yesterday but decking work is complete on it and it looked like the were beginning to remove scaffolding. That said my understanding is that this inspection is for the bridge structure itself and that lighting and other stuff will still need to be installed and to expect it to a week or to past this inspection date before it's actually ready to open for guest so you should still expect early to mid May for an opening.

There’s a picture on the BGW Uncensored page that shows the state of the bridge. All I can say is… yikes!
 
i don’t see an issue, i’m just happy it’s open even if it does look a little rough rn
 
The stupidity is strong with those on the BGW Uncensored page. From my guess: the bridge will be in a temporary reduced width/single lane access while they complete the exterior renovations. It may be a bit of bottleneck for the next few weeks, but at least there is now connectivity between Germany and Italy. See the picture above my post. I was typing as @Le Moose was posting.
