Note that Blackstone doesn't have as much of an active role in Merlin's operations since they're already settled and don't have $1.4 billion to pay back. Merlin would be a lot less restrictive on BGW and would actively pursue expansion, but historical importance means squat to them.

This is the worst of everything. We want someone who will step in and do something because the current management is completely incapable of running the place plus we need someone who cares about the park's (very rich) history.

For the rest of the year, yes. Changing up an advertisement campaign midway through a year has never helped any company that's gone through a buyout. 2014 will bring in a new advertisement campaign with the new branding, like what happened with Kings Dominion when Cedar Fair flew their flag over the park.

It sounds as if BGW being sold off A La Carte is a much more likely scenario. Actually, that is how I am hearing it will happen. To who? Well the list is getting interesting of possibilities.

I hope that it is someone or people who already have a love for the park and/or know how it should be ran. I hope it takes it back to how it was when I use to visit all the time. Also, someone who can bring in a BETTER VP of Entertainment!

From what I am hearing that is highly wishful thinking. I want to have more substance to what I am being told before opening my mouth on heavy specifics.
