I think it will be in the back area that is empty, which is the area that behind the last row of seats. If, the lighting booth and wall is built, this will make more room for many more rows of seats. We will have to wait and see what they will do.

Maybe they are trying to rearrange the seating pattern so that they can add more seats as well as be able to use the theater for a queue for Howl-o-Scream and Christmas Town. After all, they opened up the back stage door entrance, which I would assume they did since they are planning to continue to use the backstage area of the stage for more than just a backstage.
So they could be taking into consideration, Howl-o-Scream Haunt House Queue, Ice Palace (Penguins) Queue, and adding more seats for summer concerts.
Also, I expect we could be be seeing more well known people who are younger performing for the concerts. They gradually have been getting younger and more well known people to the young generation people to perform, like Colbie Callait and Miranda Cosgrove, perhaps maybe some other young teen sensation could be on their to get list?

I think they are going move some of the concerts into this theater since the stage is about the same size of the current one use for the concerts and it provides a closer access to the park's backstage area for the performers and groups.
I was just thinking well if they add more seats there, they have to think about what they are going to be doing to the Queues for Howl-o-Scream and Christmas Town if they plan to keep those attractions.
There's the lighting booth and also a building for actors to get dressed and for rehearsals but as someone else said that's basically it.
Think about this, from a bird's eye view. Perhaps they just want to add seating where they used benches? As you can see in this clearly outdated photo, there used to be an extension to the stage (circled in light blue) which was removed during their most recent concerts. Now, with what space is available and taking into account, HoS and CT Queues, the yellow areas are areas that they could possibly be adding seating?
Yeah I know the back area, but I don't recall you saying anything about the front of theater where the extension to the stage was removed.
Yeah, I didn't think about that until I saw the satellite image and then I remembered the summer concerts. They had a ton of space in front of the space even with using benches and those white fancy wedding chairs for VIPs. I think they could just be trying to fill up the space and not have to worry about constantly putting those chairs away and taking them out.
Your point makes since. But, where is this 400 sqft going to at? The only thing I can think of is a lighting booth or they are expanding the stage area.
The thing said seating. I am pretty sure 400sq ft. is approximately how much they took off for the summer concerts.
EDIT: The area that used to be there was 0.05 acers or even 2,178 sqft. So yeah, big feeling the seating is going there.

plus there is more than 400 sq. ft. where that stage extension was, so that area won't be filled up completely even. i can see them adding a bunch more seating there, an then keep the white wedding seats for vip seats.
