I believe that KD's is actually owned and run through Ritas in which case the exact price is likely controlled by them with contractual profit splitting and a contract that doesn't allow for them to undercut the park pricing. BGW's on the other hand is owned and controlled by BGW which means that they likely have more autonomy in setting the price but likely have some restrictions in place on them by the contract as to not overly gouge and thus tarnish Ritas image. That is just a broad outline on how these things work I have no direct knowledge of either park's agreement other then I know that KD's is independent and BGW owns theirs.

Generally the park and concessionaire set prices together based on costs, with the concessionaire paying rent on the space as well as a percentage of sales. Usually the park also charges for things like signage, remodeling, and upkeep.

Might be interesting for a separate post or its own section, would love to see this with all the Starbucks' that are all these parks since one way or another they all have one.

Rita's is at least decent for a park like BGW, but it'll never be the same having a chain store.
