All I have to say is I hope the park does everything they can to keep this ride running as long as possible. This ride may not look thrilling, especially to an average park guest who's never been on it but for me it's always been a must ride for me every visit. Such a great coaster, especially when the MCBR is off.
It's one of the better rides available to little kids anywhere. Height requirement is really low compared to similar coasters.

That helix is deceiving when the trims are off… doesn’t look crazy from offride. But on ride? Borderline grey out with no trims.
After fully realizing this during year-round ops, I now look forward to springtime Reptillian rides, especially on warm days when it’s really moving. I dread the manual trim enabling that’s coming.

My 5yr old is on year 2 of this and absolutely loves it.

Lol, someone got a policy violation...

Avalanche's Reptilian's board is still pretty much a manual affair. While trains will advance the blocks automatically, there are certain functions that are still the responsibility of the Board Operator, like moving trains into and out of the station. This is one of those situations.

What most likely happened was the Board Operator was not paying attention to the train as it entered block 4. When trains are running slow, there is a manual set of drive tires they can use as the train enters block 4 to give the train a boost. It only works though if the train is still moving as it enters the block, because it's not strong enough to pull the train from a dead stop.

The other thing that could have happened was the train lost a wheel, which does happen on occasion.

Either way, it's not really that abnormal.
