Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything more about the pet kennels they have? I know that it has been renovated relatively recently, and that it is about $20.00 a day, but has anyone used it and could tell me about how secure it is? Do you need to check in every time you come by to let your dog out? I just want to make sure that it is safe, and that no one else could walk off with my dog, or that no strangers would try and open his kennel. He is just a puppy, and is likely to try and take off running if we aren't the ones taking him out. Thanks!

You have to have photo ID to enter the kennel, the door only opens from the inside and they will only release your pet to you with ID or somone you authorize on their forms with ID. The Kennel is air conditioned. They do not feed or take your pets out to the bathroom for you, you are responsible for that. They only provide water and advise that you come and check on your pet periodically.

I'm ten minutes from the park and do you just drive up to the preferred lot through the exit and show them your pass for the platinum entrance. Also do you think people will still be checking passes.

The park opens at 10, so my guess is that the parking lot will open its gates at 9 and they'll start letting people in at 9:30.

That's if the park opens. If we get a hit from the hurricane riding up the coast, the park will likely be closed. If the park does open, expect it to be mobbed with people coming for the fireworks/concert/July 4th festivities.

- Hopefully the park stays open with some rain so nobody has to deal with the projected hoards of people.

I highly doubt the park will be closed. The storm does not look like it will do anything major to the parks area.

Actually, the park is probably going to be closed for some of the day. There's almost no doubt at this point the concert is going to be cancelled, and most likely the fireworks, if the park opens.

I think it is probably a bit early to predict the weather for Friday to that level of detail. The precise forecast will change at least twice between now and then.

As of now it looks like there will only be wind. Don't know if it will be to much for fireworks our not come evening.

We know it'll be crowded. Our plan is to get there early and do some rides until the park gets crowded, and then watch shows and see the animals. We have tickets for the black forest buffet. After the fireworks we'll be able to ride a few more rides, as most people will be leaving, I'm guessing/hoping
