trying to plan this weekend. BGW web site has no hours for shows this weekend and it has no show hours for the enitire month of June. Should the shows be the same as they have been for May????

Yes, the hours should be the same.. though Busch Gardens can and will shift times with little or no notice.

One thing to be aware of, there is a confirmed rumor of a new show starting up in San Marco. While BGW has not given any official information about this show, a sign went up yesterday which confirmed at least the title of the show in the rumor was accurate.

My point in telling you this; the rumored start date of the show is tomorrow, so if that pans out there will be a new show to keep in mind for your planning.

If they are indeed starting this new show this weekend; that could potentially impact the times of other shows which could be why they haven't published any info.

I assume if it's new for this weekend we'll get an announcement soon. Tomorrow morning at latest.

Well a confirmed rumor is just news, but since the post hasn't moved to news yet; I thought I'd point it out to him.

Very suprising that they don't have the times listed. Usually they have times 2 weeks out at least. This leads me to believe that there is something happening/changing. If there is a new show starting then they are waiting for the official announcement before listing showtimes. Not good PR to list a show with performance times before you even announce you are adding it.

It's News when it actually happens/officially announced. No matter how you slice it, a rumor is just that, a non-fact. Why not let the Admins do the "admining"?

Alright, I have a few so here goes:

  1. Does anyone know how deep the Rhine River is?
  2. Does mesh/polyester work well with heat? I'm going the third week of August and I have a purple Shaq jersey that I'm trying to wear to something other than a darty so I was thinking of pulling that out.
  3. This is gonna sound dumb but it's gonna be my first time going in three years and ever since we confirmed the plans I've been pretty much unable to take my mind off of it due to pure excitement so I'm trying to find stuff to do to make the time go faster. I work a lot, hit the gym every day, and I finally got 19 The Show the other day. I might go to KD on Monday but that's all I can think of.

At its shallowest near the dock the Rhine is 25 feet and out towards the turnaround it gets as deep as 60

Polyester, as with most artificial fabrics, doesn't breathe quite as well, and is slightly more irritating than natural fabrics due to the size and elasticity of the fibers.

That being said, if it's a mesh, you should be okay, just be careful about sun protection! Also late August usually isn't the worst, I would say expect mid-80's high.

Due to my mother's recent knee surgery, we will be visiting with our own wheelchair to help her get around the park. She can walk short distances and climb a few steps, but she can't walk around all day.

We don't have a handicapped parking permit, so can we bring the wheelchair on the tram?

I don't know for sure but if they see your mother and the wheelchair they may accommodate you whether you have the permit or not. I am almost positive the tram has wheelchair access. Anyone that can confirm?

I actually recall seeing somewhere else that the tram does not have wheelchair access.

I should clarify... Using her good knee, she can get on the tram and sit in a regular bench. We would just need to transport the wheelchair which collapses to become narrow. I'm thinking we could put it with children's strollers on the tram, but I'm not sure if they allow this. Does anyone know?

I found it. So it looks like they will try.. but if the employees can't lift the chair they will turn you away:

That should be allowed.

You could always pay extra for "Single Day Preferred" which they promote as "skip the tram". Looks like price varies from $25 to $40 depending on the day. You can buy on line in advance.

In regards to the chair itself, I'm sure they might be able to accommodate it at the rear of the tram train, where they also direct people with those SUV sized strollers.

Enjoy the day!

In my experience, I've told the parking and gate attendants we had a mobility vehicle and they directed us to the France parking lot. It's worth trying.
