QQ are amazing. Unlike most times of the year, you actually want to be at the park on a crowded day. They always just seem to bring a buzz to the event that a slow day could never create. So if you can skip lines and enjoy the crowds, it's perfect.

I don't usually buy qq. We usually get a cabana and the qq are part of the package. Not unlimited qq though. For my family of four, sometimes the cost of the cabana is less than the cost of purchasing qq alone.

I remember hearing somewhere that Alpengeist had one but it cut off half the riders. Maybe put in a new one somewhere like the small tunnel?

That is exactly where the camera was.

I found the strobe flash to be annoying and was glad to discover it was gone.

Hey all! I just had a quick question. Besides the Ticket Window and the little building to the left right before security check is there any other places actually inside the park where you can get the Cashless Wristbands? Thanks

I believe I saw a couple of places. I think Italy was one. I think the sign I saw had 3-4 places listed. My recommendation is to not use the cashless wristband. We did it last year and it was not a good experience. It was a pain to make sure you got your season pass discount with them as well. I saw many people having problems using them this past weekend. It was just more trouble than it was worth. You may have a different experience.

I had no problems this past weekend. They also have more places to redeem your money that you didn't spend in the park.

Sort of an odd question, but I am meeting a friend tomorrow at the park to celebrate her birthday. Any chance I can get a medium-sized wrapped package into the park? It can fit into a backpack. What is the security position on that? Thanks for any help!

We haven't had any negative experiences with the wristbands (knock on wood) and we get them connected to our passes for our discounts. Sorry you've had such a bad time with them. We will be here for two days so we will have to check out Italy and see where else we can find the wristbands.

Trying to decide on going to either Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens today. Would today be more crowded than most Sundays considering it's 4th of July weekend?
