3 years of new items ('26-'28). Technically they started several years ago given ride lead times.
Well except for Shoreline Pier and all its rides. That's been barely an 8-9 month project from conception to installation. But then, it's a one-off very timely project that isn't typical. Having 4 "new" rides in-house and one on-site made it possible. If they were buying truly new, we'd be waiting a couple of years for the rides.

is theres room behind barrels of fun of it?, better use aerial and nolimits for it
If you go back and look at the aerial pic, there’s definitely room for a white lightning out and back style GCI, probably even bigger than WL. Station and lift hill between BoF and Project Purple. Drop to the left, out and back once or twice, with the thinnest point behind BoF. That would really enclose the area nicely.

TBH I think something crazy like colossus at SFQ would be cool in/near this spot

Think much smaller. I think something on the scale of Bobcat at Great Escape is a lot more likely than something huge like Colossus.

Setting aside the Wild One drum which I will continue to beat until it's no longer possible for a moment, a family woodie that's just tall and long enough to shield Shoreline Pier from the parking lot would be golden. Doesn't need to be anything extravagant or exceedingly expensive. A classic, family-oriented woodie is completely missing from SFGAdv and the vibe uplift something like that would provide the area would be immense.

This is what I’m thinking as well. Kentucky kingdom uses Kentucky flyer to do exactly this to great effect, and even though that ride isn’t huge it has an out and back layout that does all the screening it needs to.

the only way I see a woodie happening for 2028 is if they just installed switchback

Hmm, how about a nice long family woodie that runs up to Superman along the fenceline, shielding the Pier as has been said, then goes along the path under PP's inversion and runs around Ka's old plot? They'd never do something that creative. 😜

I know they haven’t built one in a hot minute, or even really build anything aside from trains these days, but wouldn’t it be neat if they got a ground up new PTC woodie? It’s a pipe dream, I know, but imagine getting a new PTC woodie in 2028.

I really wouldn’t mind seeing a white washed Grizzly like coaster to go along the outer edge of the property. I can’t explain why but I feel like that gives me a driftwood beach type vibe.

So that along with a retheme of Superman, update the tent, and for the love of god FOLIAGE (can never add enough).

I’d genuinely trade the dream of a GASM tilt for this as long as it has all the jank a PTC should. It’s such a shame that there are only 22 left operating, every time I ride one I’m a bit sad that I have one less new PTC to experience.

Nostalgia plays are in right now. Give us a mid-size GCI called Rolling Thunder that blocks the parking lot and call it a day. I also do love the idea of a Great American Scream Machine rebirth as a tilt. I know thoosies tend to think defunct rides are sacred, but BGW taught me that spiritual successors are fine. Having a red suspended coaster in Oktoberfest called Big Bad Wolf just feels right, even if the OG was superior in every way. Just like having a woodie called Rolling Thunder feels like a requirement at SFGAdv, even if it's not dueling or in the original spot.

Personally, my vote would be for a ground-up RMC I-box using the old RT station location called "Iron Thunder" or "Steel Thunder" or something like that.

I'd much prefer a name like "Boardwalk Flyer" or "SEASIDE COASTer" for the mid-size woodie that ends up in the boardwalk area. Or, y'know, "Wild One." ;)
