The thing at the bottom reminds me of a cylinder from a music box.Official website says it's a continuation of the original and makes some reference to a castle tour...?
Hopefully BGW actually understands the original story they're paying tribute to this time around... *glares at DarKoaster*
Also very curious if anyone can make out what's going on at the bottom of the poster...

Looks like bottle caps on the sides?
This is what I was thinking to which also fits real well with a modern standard adaptation of the original.View attachment 44152View attachment 44151
I think it's a weird AI version of the gears on the sides. May we possibly be traveling in a music box instead of a cigar (?) box?
It's going to be a brand new systemDo we think they’ll used the Expedition Odyssey system or an updated system from the previous motion simulation
Definitely not. Looks screen-based. Oh well“First of it’s kind in the US”
So… Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage? Danse Macabre system?
May I suggest:
Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage(Danse Macabre is beautiful)
Intamin Motion Tower
Intamin Ultra Tower
Busch loves throwing a good 'first' in marketing, so any of these would fit.
My understanding is it's screen based but much more immersion then anything we have seen in local parks.Definitely not. Looks screen-based. Oh well
I was told to expect in to be more of a 4D experience with interactive physical elements an less like a traditional sim rideSo is this just another flight simulator? Not a dark ride...not like a flying theater? I them the original one.
I doubt the park is going with anything from Intamin any time in thd near future. The Dynamic Motion Stage can have a wraparound video screen. Efteling's installation happens to use all physical sets, but that is not a design requirement.

It exists somewhere. Can you elaborate more on why not Intamin? Just trying to narrow down some possibilities. Because if a first-in-America ride system, then that means it exists in full form out there somewhere.
Just like how an all new system was "Snowmobiles" versus "Jet-skis" with Darkastle. It's going to be a brand new system
I shall find it.It exists somewhere.

No the basic ride platform exist somewhere in the world but what BGW is getting will almost certainly be vastly different then the one that exists and not just cosmeticlyJust like how an all new system was "Snowmobiles" versus "Jet-skis" with Darkastle.

I will answer both at the same. Intamin was black listed for a long time from BGW after having major issues with Escape from Pompeii that vastly expanded the cost. After SEA saw success with Cheetah Hunt and other attractions BGW lifted that ban. They have since had najor issues with every Intamin project including some very concerning ones. I find it highly unlikely that we will see them used anytime soon.Intamin was an issue under Larry Giles, though the park bought two water rides and condemned them based on their performance and didn't look at their flats or coasters afaik.
