The GAdv community is lucky to have Colin around for sure

If not for his videos I wouldn’t know about much of the activity around the park outside of project purple and shoreline pier.

Structures repainted? New trees? Those kinds of upgrades are extremely important when trying to rebuild a park, and I’m glad they’re being talked about

new hypothesis: Project Purple was intended for Knotts before we got shafted with it

-Purple
-Boysenberry Blast themed
-Linear shuttle as a spiritual nod to Montezooma
-Montezooma ended up being more salvageable than expected
-Moved to New Jersey

“Shafted” is such a wild word to use here. I’d assume most people in the world outside of maybe people with cedar point as their home park and apparently people with great adventure as their home park would be THRILLED to have something like this built at their park

The flaw with this hypothesis is that the timelines don't match up. Montezooma had already closed for its announced makeover before the initial concept even appeared in Cedar Fair surveys, so it's highly, highly unlikely the design was ever considered for the property.

Most people with SFGAdv as their home park are thrilled about this addition, or at least not vehemently opposed to it like a certain someone.

It’s northdetective, the thread was quiet for a bit so they had to come in here and rage bait so that there would instantly be a ton of messages. It’s like clockwork

Between Purple and Shoreline, I’m upset it isn’t my home park anymore. I’m planning a NJ trip next year solely because of Great Adventure, bonus points if I can schedule it well enough to be at Coney Island on the Cyclone’s centennial.

I'm seeing at least 12 pieces of launch track down there.
I came to say just that. There’s anywhere from 9-12 launch sections visible
I genuinely expected maximum maybe 6-7 more. Very intriguing

But this other angle and that angle do a great job at showing just how much space is still available to use
