They've been there about a week.
Why I thought assumptions about giant sea monster may be misguided. Thumping, growling coming from inside previously, and now claw marks from the creature presumably trying to escape. A creature that can fit inside that mini trailer. A sea wraith would fit the bill. Mermaid, too, but they'd have to get dark to make a mermaid work, and would you want to mess with scaring young girls who hear the word and think "Disney" and "Little Mermaid?" Probably not.

I’m sure Ryan will do a better job of managing the embargo than past versions of the Great Adventure PR team. There was an embargo on the Holiday in the Park announcement and that didn’t necessarily get leaked. The speculation just ended up being correct.
The issue in past years was always NJ.com and their affiliate sites.

Someone should go and take a screenshot of the reddit person who guessed Bakunawa, because that’s definitely Ryan’s burner account if it is right.
Last bit of speculation before the big reveal. You can see the creature in the water in this teaser. It's much larger than a shipping crate. The crate clearly uses Poké Ball tech to contain the creature.
