According to Google. there are two sea monsters associated with New Jersey:
>>
Hoppie (The Lake Hopatcong Monster): Dating back to an 1894 newspaper account, this legendary creature is said to lurk in New Jersey's largest lake. Described as having a St. Bernard dog's head and a 40-foot serpentine body, it is a popular piece of local cryptozoology lore.
The Sandy Hook Sea Serpent: A massive, 40-foot creature was famously spotted by witnesses and the Coast Guard off the Jersey Shore in the late 1800s. Sightings of these long sea serpents continue to pop up.

Both would be terrible names for this ride, though. I guess "Sea Serpent" wouldn't be bad, but "The Sandy Hook Sea Serpent" would be pretty laughable.
