Purple is complimentary to yellow, which means it's the phantom of Nitro insteadI kinda hope it's not purple track tbh green would still make sense as if it was the "phantom of the great king ka or something idk.
As they should on both counts. Green/blue will just make some complain that they’re copying Ka/trying to erase it/whatever they come up with to be upset about that day, and Golden Kingdom was a beautifully themed dead end with very little to do on opening day and even less to do on closing day. When they do eventually revamp that area of the park, it needs to be much more connected and visible.i think 100% it wont be blue or green to distance this attraction from kingda ka, its a completely different entity it seems & they are moving past golden kingdom entirely
Can you link it?Anyone see today’s drone video? They have a crane digging in the pavement past the station and planter closer to the sling shot. Perhaps it’s just electric work, I don’t know much about engineering lol.
It absolutely NEEDS to have a turntable
Anyone know if Mack has history with controlled/programmed spinning on their coasters?
Ride to Happiness uses a magnet mounted part way down the first launch to give the trains some rotation going into the layout, so I expect to see something similar on the tower coaster.Anyone know if Mack has history with controlled/programmed spinning on their coasters? There's not much in the layout (you could end the sentence right here) to actually make the cars spin, and I think it would definitely enhance the outwardly banked turn to have something like a holding brake and a programmed spin at the top

The name Phantom Spire makes me think of an enclosed dark station with LED lighting and/or blacklight with some haunted/phantom theming. I'd also like to see the first part of the launch enclosed with a special lighting effect during launch.Sliding station is all the more reason to fully enclose it. Maybe make it a sea cave?
Honestly I wouldn't expect anything too crazy, I think something kind of similar to what Siren's Curse has is most likely, maybe more theming in the queue itself. As much as this company has really upped their theming game they're still on a much smaller budget than what other chains have in terms of theming.Sliding station is all the more reason to fully enclose it. I’m not expecting much, but if I’m a park exec or anyone with power I’m pounding the table to make some room in the budget for an enclosed station. Presentation matters all the more now in the social media era, and I truly believe this coaster’s presentation matters arguably more than the coaster itself.Honestly I wouldn't expect anything too crazy, I think something kind of similar to what Siren's Curse has is most likely, maybe more theming in the queue itself.
