From the top of Kingda Ka, you could see the NYC skyline in one direction (~45 miles) and the Philly skyline in the other direction (~40 miles).

I wonder if you'll be able to see them from the new ride someday... just upside-down.
Seem like a good place to re put these. The right is kingda ka from the new world trade center

Stardust Racers is a Mack ride and presumably the new coaster coming to SFGAdv is a Mack ride. 🙂
Yeah, I knew that. Plenty of manufacturers' rides have had deaths occur on them and they went on to build plenty of more rides. SFEC couldn't possibly be worried about bad press, assuming that the GP even knows the rides are by the same manufacturer (which they won't), since the attention span of the bulk of humanity in general is about two weeks these days. 😁

general population definitely doesn't know the new ride is Mack. But you know they are wondering wtf killed this guy.

What happened on stardust racer is a complete accident. The coaster, park, or manufacture aren’t to blame. No one’s to blame. Accidents unfortunately happen.
It’s tragic all around.

Let’s not include that tragedy into this conversation as the correlation is minimal and it was introduced as a place of panic on SF’s part instead of condolences to everyone affected. Park guests. Ride employees. Other riders. And most importantly the families.

Good PR statement, except no one of importance is reading.

Looks like some new holes being dug beyond what we've already seen.

I think the two large footings that people thought were for the base of the tower aren’t actually for the base of the tower. They’re too close together and too small.

What we’re seeing here with excavation starting to creep into the Ka plot is likely for the footings that will actually be for the base of the tower.

Unless it does turn into Ka’s plot after all…

It never made sense looking at the layout, footers to-date, and additional ground markings in the area for the furthest footers before this recent work to be the tower location. Some said as much. Work is likely beyond the fence and/or into the Ka plot, which it looks like we're seeing now. A curve into the tower was a possibility, if it were to curl up as in the mockups, and may be what we're starting to see here. Those previous footers are biased to one side and may indicate a right turn in the track starting there.
