Sounds fun! But doesn't fit the pirate theme.I would remame it Piece of Junk.
How about Ye Old Pile of Rubbish?Sounds fun! But doesn't fit the pirate theme.
A troll and edgelord themed land would be unique.Terrible idea but it made me think of another retheme of the joker.
dr disrespect's flip of doom with Harley Quinn rethemed to edp445's cupcake train & villains cafe rethemed to subway with a jared Fogle statue.
I know, also a bad idea and also the most disgusting one lol
I agree overall with what you said. It's tough to say anything with certitude at this point unless we receive some insider information. Therefore my coming rant will just be fun speculation at this point.I'm cautiously optimistic, but definitely watching the next few months closely. If we don't see more substantial clearing, foundation work, or at least part arrivals by mid-summer, that might be a sign that timelines are getting tight. But there's a lot to look forward to in the coming months: teaser campaigns, the announcement, parts arriving, etc. We're not too far away from finding out what this ride could be!
Curious what everyone else thinks.
I honestly doubt the coaster has even been paid for. It's still just an idea to me until I see an actual permit for it. Magic Mountain has already had it's addition leaked. The game of coaster hot potato involving Siren's Curse is proof that nothing is ever set in stone until the very last minute.hope you're right. i am definitely not confident that whatever they're planning for that area will be in any way ready for 2026, given the scale of the remaining demo work and the massive task of basically rebuilding a quarter of the park's land space to be open again. i continue to say that opening a mack spinner of any kind, let alone a shuttle, would be a disaster. to rebuild trust right now they can't be reinventing the wheel too much. you need a shock and awe kind of coaster that's gonna capture the actual awe of the public and be something they're gonna keep coming back to, not another niche ride like flash, joker or even JDC. every year since they have opened they have been a walk on for me. compare that to superman, nitro, or toro that consistently get long waits to this day.
mack spinner as a green lantern replacement in 27 sure. for 26 they need what they promised: massive, world-record breaking, headline grabbing, and high capacity.
I’m gonna go ahead and disagree with this. Yeah I get the whole Sirens Curse situation but that ride was never actually announced by Six Flags until it actually was Sirens Curse. We already got the November announcement, I think it’s possible the plan wasn’t fully in place then but they clearly had an idea of what they were doing at the very least. But by now the plan definitely is in place, I would be shocked if we don’t see signs of construction by June.I honestly doubt the coaster has even been paid for. With all the hype around the 2026 coaster, the fact that it's record breaking (even if that means a gimicky record) and it being the true replacement for Ka, it would have to be something of significance. Plus the Flash is already a clone. I don't see the park adding another clonable coaster back to back or one having a design that will be "thrown up quickly" in this case. The other concern is that the replacement coaster is some simple design that can be thrown up quickly.
I agree with you. I would consider the demolition of Kingda Ka and Green Lantern and the land clearing on their old plots as a sign of construction for this new coaster... just b/c there aren't footers yet doesn't mean it's behind...I’m gonna go ahead and disagree with this. The new coaster being on the GL plot makes a ton of sense from a park layout point of view. Superman is by itself currently. We're probably looking at a new coaster, a retheme for Superman, and a new area with a restaurant and retail. Basically Jungle X.While at the park this Thursday. I saw from the safari that the land in KK's former plot was still rough and messy. From Skyscreamer. it appeared that the former plot for GL was smoothed and leveled out, ready for construction. There were also heavy equipment parked in the GL spot. This may indicate that the new coaster is being built in GL's old location despite being a replacement for KK. I mentioned before that Flash may be the now defacto replacement for GL.
also think this makes sense with the theory that GL’s closure was pre planned for this year and the replacement coaster has been in development for a while. Opens up the possibilities for 2026 as it wouldn’t have to be a off the shelf model. Maybe a launched wing coaster, vekoma multi launch, or the dream scenario: an intamin blitz. The new coaster being on the GL plot makes a ton of sense from a park layout point of view.
