All of the Extreme Spinners have a controlled spin built into the design
in his newest video, el toro Ryan has stated he has “repeatedly heard up until this point” that the Mack rides shuttle spinning strata will indeed be the replacement for kingda ka. Side note: he is not a fan of the concept.
Am I wrong for thinking a 400 foot tall shuttle extreme spinner sounds awesome and would be just as much of a draw as Kingda Ka was?
I am honestly fine with it too, people are judging it too close too ka. Yes, as much as it is not kingda ka, it seems like it’ll be its own standalone unique thing. I personally LOVE how its not just another giga or launch coaster, its still something that has never been seen before and is unique to Great Adventure, AND is still a strata coaster. Makes me happy there will at least be one, because the writing is on the wall with Superman and it isn’t looking good with tt2. And for what it doesnt do, there’s cool stuff it DOES do. Launching UPSIDE DOWN, and then going up a 400 foot tall near vertical thing SPINNING sounds like a really fun time, and we get to do backwards. This coaster will probably be more for the GP than the thoosies with all the stats, and im sure it’ll become a new icon among them with time, so for what it is, it should be a very fun time. I like it.

And also, as a side note, I know people say “b&m giga”, but as cool as this would be for us thoosies, i feel like gp would think it’s too similar to nitro for a ka replacement.

Nor am I a fan of this idea. Shuttle coasters are best for small park with limited space. Big parks like GAdv should use full circuit designs.
This new coaster has really big shoes to fill. Besides needing to be a worthy replacement to KK which is a tall order in itself, it also must compensate the loss of 4 additional and unique rides. CF has put the park into a very tough situation and this spinning shuttle concept does not sound like it will be enough to achieve these goals.

I hate to be that guy, but I think SFGADV will achieve these goals, but like kings dominion, park fans will unfortunately have to have patience. Jungle Expedition wasn’t built in a day, nor will the multi year plan for sfgadc
Puts flame suit, I am not impressed by the pictures I seen of jungle expedition. Seems like people use it as copium for CF's historical tendency to destroy the character of the parks they acquire.
Depending on the layout honestly, if they throw in like 3-4 inversions and make it like a Ride to Happiness style ride before the tower? Then yeah I think that’ll be dope
I think it looks nice. It doesn’t mean I’m LYING to myself. It means I personally like it and think the quality will stay. And honestly, I’m also gonna put on the flame suit: NO COASTER ON EARTH short of something like falcons flight would ever be truly worthy in thoosies eyes. KK was such a legend and had such an aura around it that nothing except another “worlds tallest” could really replicate. It’s just sorta impossible.
Also, has anyone heard if that’s a possible continuation of the ride after the tower or is it 100% locked in to be a shuttle?
Just my opinion , but that ride would easily be a contender for best in the world.
An excellent coaster coming next year, and one of the best in the world coming the year after that. I think most people are probably jealous of Great Adventure, not feeling sorry for it.

I mean if someone can whip together like a compact layout with the strata tower on NoLimits 2. Then you can probably make that judgement

Recreation of the 200 foot version proposed for kings island. Imagine this but twice as tall and probably faster. Ngl the hang time would be incredible
