Not sure how this guy even got the pictures, but I came across this on Facebook - additional pictures of the track arriving

I know the layout isn’t going to be changed much… however a part of me really hopes if anything did change, it’s the tower and how the track interacts with the tower.
What if they revamped or redesigned the track so it’s facing outwards during the entire spire section. Or even inverts at 300 ft adding the worlds tallest invert section.
Theres so many possibilities that they could have went with or reevaluated and changed just in the spire section alone.
I have 0 confidence in more footers or changing of track length but I do have confidence that if anything was in fact changed from the original teaser, the changes will come from adjusted tower interactions
This is what I've always suspected, too. Curl up the tower, or thru the legs and curl, or some combination of movement besides just straight up. It's just so easy and more dynamic a ride experience. Ka curled on its way down. That makes me think that instead of heading straight up the tower then doing the little circle bit at the top (as in the images shown in the survey), what if it spirals around the tower several times on the way up? That could be a way to get to track length that's longer than Ka.
Kurvy KaThey should name this ride "Kurly Ka".![]()
I think most if not all of these are in the bag already. Seems like overall height won't match Ka and, given company politics, is questionable to top TT2. Hope I'm wrong and it just beats TT2's 420'. But it being a spinner will guarantee a lot of records for a spinner. Kinda cheap records, imo, when we're more impressed by overall coaster records, not gimmick-specific. But then, we all love Nitro and El Toro for their type-specific features, so I shouldn't really nit-pick.That would actually be really cool if it curves up the tower, like imagine facing sideways facing the entire park as you glide up the huge 400 ft tower. A upside down inversion in the tower would definitely add to the experience and could give more records like highest inversion as mentioned before. I can see this coaster possibly having the following records:
Tallest and fastest coaster in North America ( if it’s 430 ish and they break dragster records..can’t be ruled out yet)
worlds Highest inversion on a roller coaster
Worlds first upside launch
Tallest and fastest spinning coaster
If this coaster has these records that would be pretty impressive, I would have to admit!
That would be a homage to Stuntman's Freefall, which I would also approve. Is there any consensus on a drop tower component to this ride? A thought I had was that a Scirocco Tower-style structure could be placed inside the empty space of the twisted spire of the coaster that would pay homage to Zumanjaro in a new, innovative way for the US.
Either way, this is great, and the brilliant Apollo's Chariot purple is delightful!![]()

They're hyping the "larger than" record, i.e. longer track, larger footprint, so those seem to be the ones that may lead the PR down the line.
It's NOT a replacement for Ka, they say, but Ryan is using Ka as the measuring stick repeatedly. Might be setting themselves up for some annoyance from us thoosies, even if we ultimately love the ride, if in the end it's "larger than" Ka, per their PR, but it's not as tall and has less track. I'd rather no comparison to Ka and just roll the thing out and let us compare/contrast and come up with our own feelings about it. We know it's basically a Ka replacement that'll be more reliable and cost-efficient to run. Maybe leave that unsaid.
I can't imagine they'd try that again, Zumanjaro didn't seem that successful from all accounts I've heard. It was in a really bad location, far removed from the rest of the park, and this new tower is going to be even further removed than Ka's was. It also caused issued with Kingda Ka's operations, and they can't afford to have operations slow down even more for this shuttle coaster. I think it'd make much more sense to build a drop tower somewhere else in the park, maybe replacing the Slingshot. Is there any consensus on a drop tower component to this ride? There was a survey a little bit back (unless that just came to me in a dream or something) and one of the options was a free standing drop tower around 400 feet. I feel pretty confident that 'project 2026' circle centered on Green Lantern's plot is going to be that drop tower, or possibly the flat ride package. They mentioned wanting to fix the skyline of the park, and Spire + the drop tower would be the new Ka and Parachutes. Is there any consensus on a drop tower component to this ride? A thought I had was that a Scirocco Tower-style structure could be placed inside the empty space of the twisted spire of the coaster that would pay homage to Zumanjaro in a new, innovative way for the US.

Echoing @wasteman I can't see another drop tower within the coaster tower. Zumanjaro was literally the straw that broke Ka's back when the state refused to recertify it for operation without changes to the tower that also prevented Ka from re-opening. The investment required to make both rides operable as far as the state was concerned was so much CF corporate made the offseason call to proceed with the demolition a year ahead of schedule. So, I don't think we'd really want to ever see another combo ride like that again. Now, go outside, turn around three times, and spit to get rid of the bad juju of the memory of Ka's doom!I can't imagine they'd try that again, Zumanjaro didn't seem that successful from all accounts I've heard.
