Also that was kind-of a special case, where SFNO was closed and they distributed things around the chain... it wasn't custom or special-ordered for that park, more like checking off a box where other parks didn't need it (plenty of Batman clones and SLCs already in the chain, and they likely didn't want to transport it too far out of the way).

Hennisphere posted the video of the construction sign and we got great insight from Jeffrey
-this attraction have been planned for several years part of the master planning
-they’re two different “half’s” of the site: bottom area where Big Bender and Whirlpool were and a top level where the roads behind hurricane harbor are
-there’s no height limits like anyone claim there was. They remained 200ft because it gives the park a proportional look, but if they want to go above 200ft, they just asked the homeowners association
-there’s two markings already in place: B-1 & B-2.
-the ground in the lower half is not in it final level yet
-this ride will utilize one of the best views in the whole park (whatever that means)
-the perimeter road’s won’t be altered at all
-no show buildings (unofficially)
-the area taken up by this attraction will go “to the parking lot”
-the construction site is active, but going through the slower phases yet and won’t take months before dramatic changes begin
-THIS IS INTERESTING: regarding heights, the military base doesn’t care about the heights, but care about lightings.
-they want this attraction DARK on top of the hill
That's a huge bit of info there. I feel much more confident about a hypercoaster of some sort with that info, would have been difficult otherwise.
I'm reading this to mean: the ride's placement on that elevated "top half" will make it stand out *enormously* against the rest of the park, and from the ride itself, will offer views of literally the entire park. Not sure of the exact elevations there but its got to be 50ft higher than where Dr. Diabolical sits.
Bold prediction: This is going to be a Hyper Coaster of some kind
I've never seen such an obvious hyper coaster in my life. Only question is if it's a B&M, Vekoma, or Mack.
I noticed you didn’t say Intamin.
I feel confident in ruling out Mack because they’ve put all cards down on the table for their 2027 coaster projects, and there’s nothing that lines up with SFFT.
I would love a Mack hyper in the US. Hyperia is a great ride, though I wish it were longer. If Intamin could match the intensity and pacing of Hyperion at SFFT it would immediately be one of the best hyper coasters in the US, and the world. If it's just another out and back B&M that would be boring. A twister model like Raging Bull could be interesting though I don't think that's what they're doing anymore and that doesn't really fit the plot of land SFFT is working with.
Noticed as well. Just vibes, but I think they're the most likely supplier at the moment. Whether it be in the style of Kondaa or Hyperion, that's all I've wanted there for years, and either would be a nuclear homerun.
I didn't say Intamin because I don't think they're likely. B&M does most hyper coasters, Vekoma is popular in the chain as of late, and Mack is the wild card. Intamin doesn't do many rides in the chain anymore.
Looking at the purchasing habits of Six Flags going into the merger, I think it's very possible any of B&M, Intamin, or Vekoma could be on the table for this project as it's been in the works since probably around the time Dr. Diabolical opened. Based on the success of that ride, I'd probably lean toward B&M as they have the most experience and produce the most reliable designs, but I could also see the company going out on a limb for someone else if they offered something more interesting at a lower budget. The hyper wing idea is still really sticking with me for this one, probably because a cookie cutter hyper doesn't seem that exciting in this day and age, but I suppose if you want a signature crowd pleasing coaster that's the sort of ride that makes the most sense and SFFT doesn't have a sizable non-inverting coaster.
I need a Vekoma Hyper done….the Skydash layout has such untapped potential
