I will always love Questor, as you can tell...🙃

It could be fantastic to do a BGW-style Hypersphere 360 from Sea World Dubai, but 100% beautifully rendered with Irish lore. Its a high capacity ride and would be the first of its kind in VA. Its hard for me to conceive how much room it needs behind the queue that exists now, but man that could be a nice ride for everyone.

Thoughts?

Oh cool another ride that will last 3 years tops
I was thinking about this. Would people accept something licensed in that area if it meant not dying out after 3 years like ever other attraction there. Like if they abandon the Ireland aspect of the ride and made that some screen ride that was Rankin Bass Rudolph or Sesame Street or some other license they dont have yet. I used Rudolph just as I know they have some kind of license with that for the winter.

Random thought - But the Killarney Sim building is about the same size as Boo Blasters and Reese's Cupfusion. Would be kinda fun to see an interactive shooter ride put into that space fusing the stories of Corkscrew Hill and BfE. I would even flip the entrance and exit here. Near the Castle O'Sullivan entrance I would do a new entrance for the new ride, utilizing some of the COS space for the queue. The old exit space for the Sim space could become the loading area/station. Then the building is the ride. And the old preshow space could become the unload space and exit through the space you used to enter.

Most importantly I would use a setup like Toy Story Mania so that the physical sets can be designed to work year round, then during Halloween you can do an overlay on the screens, then in winter you can do a Chistmas themed overlay. Far more cost effective to not have to redecorate the space every single year and just be able to hit a button on the programming for the seasonal attraction.

I really don't want just a simulator. I do think they are too limited even if the video has multiple versions like star tours.

I'm unsure if this is in support on my concept or against TBH. I'm not suggesting a simulator - I'm suggesting something interactive like Toy Story Mania or Reese's Cupfusion.

The way they let the effects of Verbolten go and the 4 other things in that Killarney Building, do you think they can be committed to maintaining it past the 3-5 year window. Something like this would have a lot more upkeep than just a simulator ride.
Yes because they are showing a recommitment to theme elements.

I think it’s a little early to say this across the board. They’re investing in new theming product, which I love, but they haven’t demonstrated that they’re willing to invest in maintaining theming.

Verbolten is a great example. It was added less than 15 years ago and had arguably the most elaborate theming the park has ever seen. Yet, we all know how well it was maintained. Meanwhile, we’re already starting to see various issues with the “effects” on DarKoaster, and even InvadR has been losing theming elements over the years. So just because BGW is willing to build the theming, doesn’t mean they’re willing to keep up with it.

The rumor that’s consistently appeared on here about why Verbolten’s theming in particular has suffered so much, is that no department wants to foot the bill for maintaining it. Rides says Entertainment is responsible theming, Entertainment says Rides is responsible for theming. It’s a completely solvable problem, but I don’t think we’ve seen evidence yet that BGW has resolved it. Until they do, I worry that even the most elaborately themed attraction will end up deteriorating like Verbolten.

We really need a WDI/Uni Creative-style department that's only responsible for theming. That way there's no debate. Of course it'll never happen because United Parks is United Parks but it'd be the best way to maintain the theming of the park

If it's a ride system, my bet will be on the system SWO is getting that is if it can fit in a tight space

Good point they like to buy ride systems in bulk. RE: Family Suspended Coasters, Screamin' Swing, and SnowMobile/JetSki Coasters.
