When you need a family boomerang, but don't have Vekoma money, call RMC.
A good question. I swear I saw somewhere just the other day that the restraints are Class 4?why are there Class 5 restraints.
Agreed... but I'm hopeful they can pull the concept off.Forbidden Lair is a butt name.
This is my biggest nitpick. While I'm thrilled that they finally have the true family coaster they needed, I would have much preferred something over by Nopuko. All the good stuff now is on the left side of the park. Hopefully we see this come to fruition in a couple of years!Location is cool by the water, it's not really filling a gap in the park's areas but whatever
Theres no way a small scale shuttle like this will do anything for attendance lol Maybe you grab some locals who don't go no more
I know family rides are the new crazy but this isint even the same universe imo as a big bear or werewolf ect. I guess I underestimate thoosies but if i was near by im not driving an hour or 2 hrs just to ride a family shuttleI super disagree. This park desperately needs family attractions. They tried to build two objectively great, high-quality, intense, adult-oriented coasters. That strat failed.
I think we have tons of comps in the industry to suggest that the family market is easier and cheaper to capture—and more rewarding per cap if you do so.
Lost Island's original build-out had a handful of obvious issues in my opinion, but the lack of an aggressive (possibly exclusive?) focus on family attractions straight from the jump is almost certainly one of their most glaring missteps if you ask me.
They aren't trying to capture thoosies though. That's why they are adding this. Thoosies aren't enough to support a park. They need to attract the GP with family friendly attractions.I guess I underestimate thoosies but if i was near by im not driving an hour or 2 hrs just to ride a family shuttle
I feel like lost island is a very unknown park to most GP though. Hell I cant even tell you how many people have no idea what holiday world even is. I was even at KI and mentioned it to a few and they didnt even know. I genuinly don't see any family going out their way just for this. They would just look at the handful of other parksThey aren't trying to capture thoosies though. That's why they are adding this. Thoosies aren't enough to support a park. There’s a billboard about every 10 miles heading west out of Chicago.I feel like lost island is a very unknown park to most GP though.
