In light of everything that is going on with the company, everything happening with the seasonal cancellations and now the delayment of SFGADV's 2026 coaster...

...when is the cord pulled for Magic Mountain's to be delayed.

That project is different as it's at a year-round park that can open something whenever, and the investment is fairly insulated from everything else CAPEX-strategy going on in the chain. Right now a lot of it is coming down to a slow permitting and approvals process for such a major prototype terrain attraction, they can afford to move at their own pace. Soon is always nice but it will be ready when it's ready.

My personal response to this project's timeline is let them take as long as they need. It's fairly insulated from the rest of the chain's investments and could open whenever at a year-round park. Coaster itself is obviously a huge prototype using the terrain. The park is recovering from a couple years of mismanagement and making headway towards ensuring consistent two train operations for everything, which isn't easy in a park with 20 coasters. Whatever it is will be very worthwhile.
